Story Transcript:

Fi: Delphi hehkui syksyn väreissä.
En: Delphi glowed in the colors of autumn.

Fi: Auringonlasku maalasi taivaan punaisen ja oranssin sävyillä.
En: The sunset painted the sky in shades of red and orange.

En: Aino, Mikko, and Eero walked along the road that led to a bustling square.

Fi: Aukioon oli pystytetty markkinat, täynnä kojuja.
En: A market had been set up in the square, full of stalls.

Fi: Kojujen kankaat liehuivat lempeässä tuulessa, ja mausteiden aromit täyttivät ilman.
En: The fabrics of the stalls fluttered in the gentle breeze, and the aromas of spices filled the air.

Fi: Aino katseli innokkaasti ympärilleen.
En: Aino looked eagerly around.

Fi: Hän oli etsimässä muistoesinettä, jota voisi vaalia muualla kotona.
En: She was looking for a souvenir that she could cherish back home.

En: Mikko, on the other hand, examined price tags and calculated the budget.

Fi: Hän halusi varmistaa, että he eivät tuhlaa liikaa.
En: He wanted to ensure they didn't spend too much.

Fi: Eero, ystävällinen myyjä, seisoi kojujen keskellä ja kutsui ohikulkijoita kuulemaan tarinoita.
En: Eero, a friendly vendor, stood among the stalls, inviting passersby to hear stories.

Fi: "Tuossa on jotain mielenkiintoista," Aino sanoi ja osoitti vanhaa patsasta.
En: "There's something interesting," Aino said, pointing to an old statue.

En: The statue was small, but there was something captivating about it.

En: It looked like an Ancient Greek god, and its details were astonishing.

Fi: "Se on Apollon patsas," Eero aloitti selittämään.
En: "That's a statue of Apollo," Eero began to explain.

Fi: "Sanotaan, että se on peräisin oraakkelin temppelistä.
En: "It's said to be from the oracle's temple.

En: Whoever owned it would gain wisdom."

En: Eero's eyes shone as he told the story.

Fi: Mikko oli epäileväinen.
En: Mikko was skeptical.

En: "How can we be sure it's authentic?"

Fi: hän kysyi.
En: he asked.

En: He stepped closer to the statue and examined it carefully.

Fi: "Minulla on asiakirjat", Eero vastasi.
En: "I have the documents," Eero replied.

Fi: Hän kaivoi esiin vanhan, kellastuneen paperin.
En: He unearthed an old, yellowed paper.

Fi: "Tässä on todisteet."
En: "Here's the evidence."

Fi: Aino oli ristiriitainen.
En: Aino was conflicted.

Fi: Hän halusi uskoa Eeron tarinaan, mutta Mikon järkevä ääni kaikui hänen mielessään.
En: She wanted to believe Eero's story, but Mikko's rational voice echoed in her mind.

Fi: Hän katsoi Eeroa ja päätti kysellä enemmän.
En: She looked at Eero and decided to inquire further.

Fi: "Mitä muuta voit kertoa minulle Delphista ja tästä patsaasta?"
En: "What else can you tell me about Delphi and this statue?"

Fi: hän kysyi...
