Story Transcript:

En: The Estonian autumn offered its most beautiful views in Kadrioru Park.

En: The trees wore a red and golden leaf cloak that shone in the sunlight.

En: Maarika walked slowly through the park, feeling how each leaf crunching under her feet sounded like a long-lost melody.

En: It was Maarika's first time at a family gathering after a long while.

En: She had just returned home from abroad, carrying confusion and anticipation in her heart.

En: Waiting for her in the park were Tõnu, her older brother, and Katriin, her artistic and always cheerful cousin.

En: They had spread out a picnic blanket and placed hot tea and homemade pies on the table.

Et: Maarika naeratas laiali vedelat lõhna täis õhku hingates.
En: Maarika smiled as she inhaled the air full of a rich aroma.

Et: Katriin lehvitas rõõmsalt, meelitades Maarikat lähemale.
En: Katriin waved cheerfully, enticing Maarika to come closer.

Et: "Tule istu meiega, Maarika!
En: "Come sit with us, Maarika!

Et: Meil on sulle nii palju rääkida," hüüdis Katriin, nende hääled segunesid puude kohinaga.
En: We have so much to tell you," called Katriin, their voices blending with the rustling of the trees.

En: Maarika sat down and listened as Tõnu talked about the family business, while Katriin shared the success of her latest art installation opening.

En: Maarika felt how difficult it was to talk about her experiences abroad.

En: She feared they might not understand how much she had changed and how it all had affected her.

En: Meanwhile, Maarika got up and invited Tõnu to walk with her.

Et: Krõbiseva lehesaju all, eemal teistest, hakkas Maarika vaikselt oma südant avama.
En: Under the rustling shower of leaves, away from the others, Maarika began to quietly open her heart.

Et: "Tõnu, ma tunnen ennast kuidagi mujale kuuluvana.
En: "Tõnu, I feel like I belong somewhere else.

Et: See maailm seal oli tõeliselt teine.
En: That world over there was truly different.

En: I'm afraid I've changed and no longer fit in here like I used to."

Et: Tõnu kuulas vaikselt, astudes samas rütmis Maarikaga.
En: Tõnu listened quietly, walking in rhythm with Maarika.

En: Then, in silence, he placed his...
