Story Transcript:

En: On the 20th floor of the Rahinge Kontoritornid, the air was filled with the essence of autumn and Halloween.

En: The quiet hum of turbines, audible through the glass walls, couldn't drown out the chatter emanating from between the pumpkins and spider webs.

Et: Liisa seisis kööginurgas, silmad kergelt väsinud arvuti ekraanist, kuid süda igatses midagi muud kui igapäevane töö.
En: Liisa stood in the kitchen nook, eyes slightly tired from the computer screen, but her heart longed for something more than the everyday work.

Et: Tema kõrval tõstis Mart just kohvikruusi kohviautomaadi alla.
En: Beside her, Mart was just placing a coffee mug under the coffee machine.

Et: “Tere, Liisa,” lausus ta soojalt. "Kuidas läheb?"
En: "Hello, Liisa," he said warmly. "How are you?"

Et: Liisa naeratas. “Aitäh, hästi. Kuidas sinul?”
En: Liisa smiled. "Thank you, I'm well. How about you?"

Et: Vastus oli tuttav, kuid midagi Marti soojas hääles äratas Liisa sees sooja tunde.
En: The response was familiar, but something in Mart's warm voice stirred a warm feeling inside Liisa.

En: It felt different from the usual politeness.

Et: Nende jutuajamine kulges loomulikult edasi.
En: Their conversation flowed naturally.

En: Mart spoke about his recent IT project, and Liisa shared her thoughts on a marketing campaign.

En: At this point, the lively Katri joined the conversation at their table.

Et: “Kuidas oleks, kui läheksite koos sellele Halloweeni peole?” pakkus Katri, silmad sõbralikult säramas.
En: "How about you both go to that Halloween party together?" suggested Katri, her eyes shining friendly.

Et: Liisa vaatas teda kahtlevalt.
En: Liisa looked at her doubtfully.

En: "I'm not sure... office romance isn't my thing."

En: "But think of it as an opportunity to create a friendship.

Et: Mart on hea inimene.”
En: Mart is a good person."

Et: Mart vaatas Liisa poole, mõtlikult.
En: Mart looked at Liisa, thoughtfully.

En: "I would like to talk more with you, if you're willing..."

Et: Nädal hiljem oli Rahinge Kontoritorn valmis Halloweeni peoks.
En: A week later, Rahinge Kontoritornid was ready for the Halloween party.

En: The decorations were grand, and people were laughing and dancing.

En: Liisa wore a black-gold dress, a mask hiding part of her face.

En: Mart found her in the crowd, himself masked as a charming vampire.

Et: “Liisa, ma...
