Cs: Podzim rozehrál vesnici pod nohama paprsky slunce a chladným větrem.
En: Autumn cast the village underfoot with rays of sunshine and a cool breeze.
Cs: Staré kameny náměstí, obklopené domky se slaměnými střechami, zrcadlily záři padajících listů.
En: The old stones of the square, surrounded by cottages with thatched roofs, reflected the glow of the falling leaves.
Cs: Vesnice se připravovala na slavnost, která měla být nejen oslavou sklizně, ale také poslední nadějí na záchranu před blížící se zimou.
En: The village was preparing for a festival, which was to be not only a celebration of the harvest but also the last hope for salvation before the coming winter.
Cs: V tom všem shonu a přípravách stál Jakub, mladý sedlák, uprostřed dění s hlubokou starostí ve tváři.
En: Amidst all this hustle and preparation stood Jakub, a young farmer, at the center of the action with deep concern on his face.
