En: The clock at Kaapstad Internasionale Lughawe shows half-past seven, and the bright lights of the terminal illuminate the sky like a starry heaven.

Af: Annelie, 'n jong rekenmeester, stap haastig deur die gewoel, haar hakke klik-klik oor die glansende vloere.
En: Annelie, a young accountant, walks hurriedly through the hustle and bustle, her heels clicking over the shiny floors.

Af: Die reuke van vars koffie en die vars, lente-wind wat by die oop deure instroom, meng in die lug.
En: The scents of fresh coffee and the fresh spring wind streaming through the open doors mix in the air.

Af: Annelie hou haar tas vas, gretig om by haar broer, Johan, te kom.
