Pl: Na zboczu starożytnego wzgórza w Grecji, wśród ruin amfiteatru skąpanych w złocistym jesiennym świetle, słychać było cichy szelest liści.
En: On the slope of an ancient hill in Grecja, among the ruins of an amphitheater bathed in golden autumn light, a quiet rustling of leaves could be heard.

Pl: Janusz, Katarzyna i Marek wybierali się na wycieczkę z plecakami po Grecji.
En: Janusz, Katarzyna, and Marek were setting off on a backpacking trip through Grecja.

Pl: Było już późne popołudnie.
En: It was already late afternoon.

Pl: Janusz stał na krawędzi amfiteatru z roziskrzonym wzrokiem.
En: Janusz stood on the edge of the amphitheater with a sparkling gaze.

Pl: "Spójrzcie na to miejsce," powiedział z zachwytem.
En: "Look at this place," he said with awe.

Pl: "Czyż nie czujecie, jakby te kamienie miały do opowiedzenia historię?"
En: "Don't you feel like these stones have a story to tell?"

Pl: Katarzyna, stając obok niego, wzruszyła ramionami.
En: Katarzyna, standing next to him, shrugged.

Pl: "Kamienie nie mówią, Janusz.
En: "Stones don't speak, Janusz.

Pl: A legendy nie zawsze są prawdziwe."
En: And legends aren't always true."

Pl: Szukał inspiracji na nową powieść.
En: He was searching for inspiration for a new novel.

Pl: "Legendy to przecież tylko historie," skwitował z uśmiechem.
