Story Transcript:

No: Høstløvet fnitret i vinden og spredte et teppe av rødt, gult og oransje over stien der Sindre og Ingrid gikk.
En: The autumn leaves rustled in the wind, spreading a carpet of red, yellow, and orange over the path where Sindre and Ingrid walked.

No: De var naboer, men også venner.
En: They were neighbors, but also friends.

En: Ingrid had lived in the community for a while and often shared bits of her kindness with newcomers.

No: Sindre, derimot, hadde flyttet hit for å finne roen.
En: Sindre, on the other hand, had moved here to find peace.

No: Men roens vennskap hadde sine utfordringer.
En: But the peace of friendship had its challenges.

En: It was a perfect autumn day by the lakeside cabin.

No: Tåken svevde over vannet, og luften bar med seg den friske duften av furuskog.
En: The mist floated over the water, and the air carried the fresh scent of pine forest.

En: This was everything Sindre had hoped for—peace, nature, the chance to go at his own pace.

No: Men i dag var annerledes.
En: But today was different.

No: Midt i samtalen om det kommende halloween-arrangementet i fellesskapet, stoppet Sindre plutselig.
En: In the middle of their conversation about the upcoming Halloween event in the community, Sindre suddenly stopped.

No: Smerten i brystet hans var skarp, ukjent.
En: The pain in his chest was sharp, unfamiliar.

En: He breathed heavily and looked at the trees that seemed to bend closer, pressing in.

No: "Ingrid," klarte Sindre å si, selv om ordene virket å drukne i tåken.
En: "Ingrid," Sindre managed to say, even though the words seemed to drown in the mist.

En: "I don't think I'm doing well."

En: Ingrid, vigilant as always, was already by his side.

No: "Sindre, vi må tilbake til hytta.
En: "Sindre, we need to get back to the cabin.

No: Nå.
En: Now.

No: Kan du gå?
En: Can you walk?"

No: "Sindre kjempet mot frykten.
En: Sindre fought against the fear.

En: He had always managed on his own, but now was not the time for pride.

No: Han nikket, men bena hans var som bly.
En: He nodded, but his legs felt like lead.

No: Han måtte stole på Ingrid.
En: He had to rely on Ingrid.

En: With Ingrid's arm supporting him, they slowly began their way back to the cabin and safety.

En: All thoughts of withdrawing from the community to heal himself suddenly seemed flawed.

En: Wasn't part of healing also building bonds with those around him?

En: Soon they...
