Story Transcript:

En: On an autumn morning, at a busy company in Seoul.

En: The employees were busily working in front of their computers.

En: The office was decorated here and there with orange maple leaves announcing the arrival of autumn.

En: In one of the office cubicles, Jiho was trying to suppress his laughter.

En: He had clicked on an email containing a Halloween joke he intended to send to his friend Minseo.

En: But then... his hand slipped, and his finger ended up on the "send to all" button.

En: Within seconds, the email was sent to all the employees in the company.

En: Jiho's face turned pale instantly.

En: "This is bad..." Jiho covered his face with his hands.

En: The forced laughter coming from the office was clearly the reaction of people reading Jiho's email.

En: Minseo, sitting next to him, stifled a little laugh and looked at Jiho.

En: Minseo said, "Jiho, what are you going to do now?"

En: Jiho looked at Minseo with a worried face.

En: "We need to do something. If Daehyun Manager finds out, we're in big trouble."

En: Daehyun was known to be a cold and stern supervisor.

En: He seemed uninterested in anything beyond work matters.

En: However, to maintain the company's professionalism, he could be scarier than a ghost.

En: "I have an idea!" Jiho suddenly slapped his knee and said.

En: "Let's disguise this as a Halloween event!"

En: Minseo and Jiho hurriedly had a small meeting.

En: They quickly decorated the office with small pumpkin ornaments and set up a Halloween costume corner for each team.

En: Jiho prepared to announce the company's Halloween plans.

En: Daehyun was waiting, somewhat skeptically, for whatever Jiho and Minseo were up to.

En: Nevertheless, Daehyun gave them a chance to speak.

En: "Manager, to invigorate the company, we've arranged a Halloween event.

En: It’s a little joy everyone can participate in.

En: Of course, today is a work-focused day, but isn't some enjoyment necessary?"

En: Daehyun initially seemed uninterested, but seeing the laughter and the cheerful atmosphere among the employees, he slowly began to smile.
