Story Transcript:

Ja: 成田国際空港には、秋の風がそよいでいました。
En: At Narita International Airport, the autumn breeze was gently blowing.

Ja: 木々の葉がカラフルに色づき、地面に舞い落ちています。
En: The leaves on the trees were turning colorful and falling softly to the ground.

Ja: ハロウィーンも近づいており、空港内にはカボチャやおばけの飾りが見えます。
En: With Halloween approaching, you could see decorations of pumpkins and ghosts throughout the airport.

Ja: ハルトは、カナダでの留学を終えて帰国するところです。
En: Haruto had just finished his studies in Canada and was returning to Japan.

Ja: 彼は新しい知識と経験を手に、日本へ戻ることに少し不安を感じています。
En: With new knowledge and experiences in hand, he felt a bit anxious about going back.

Ja: 「皆、僕の変化をどう思うだろう?」と心の中で問いかけます。
En: "I wonder what everyone will think of the changes in me?" he asked himself.

Ja: しかし、同時にワクワクする気持ちもあります。
En: Yet, at the same time, he was also feeling excited.

Ja: 友達のエツコは、ハルトを迎えに来ています。
En: His friend Etsuko had come to welcome him.

Ja: 彼女は、昔と変わってしまったハルトにどう接すればいいのか心配しています。
En: She was worried about how to interact with Haruto, who might have changed from the past.

Ja: それでも、空港で再会することに胸を躍らせています。
En: Even so, she felt her heart flutter at the thought of reuniting at the airport.

Ja: 成田空港の到着ホールで、ハルトはエツコと妹のミカに出迎えられました。
En: In the arrival hall of Narita Airport, Haruto was greeted by Etsuko and his younger sister Mika.

Ja: ミカは、兄がどれだけ変わったのか興味津々です。
En: Mika was very curious about how much her brother had changed.

Ja: 彼女は帰国祝いのためにサプライズを用意しています。
En: She had prepared a surprise to celebrate his return.

Ja: 「おかえり、ハルト!」ミカが笑顔で言いました。
En: "Welcome back, Haruto!" Mika said with a smile.

Ja: 「カナダはどうだった?」
En: "How was Canada?"

Ja: 「素晴らしかったよ。でも、たくさんのことを学んだんだ。」ハルトはスーツケースを片手に、少し緊張しながら答えます。
En: "It was amazing. But, I learned a lot of things." Haruto replied, feeling a bit nervous as he held his suitcase with one hand.

Ja: エツコとミカは、彼が話すのを待ちます。
En: Etsuko and Mika waited for him to continue talking.

Ja: タクシーを待ちながら、ハルトは自分の気持ちを打ち明けることに決めました。
En: As they waited for a taxi, Haruto decided to open up about his feelings.

Ja: 「実はね、留学先でいろいろと感じてきたんだ。
En: "You know, I experienced a lot while studying abroad.

Ja: 文化の違いや、新しい友達との出会いが、僕を少し変えたんだ。」
En: The cultural differences and the new friends I met slightly changed me."

Ja: エツコは頷き、「何が一番印象に残ったの?」と尋ねます。
En: Etsuko nodded and asked, "What left the biggest impression on you?"

Ja: ハルトは深呼吸して答えます。「異なる視点を持つことの大切さを学んだんだ。
En: Haruto took a deep breath and answered, "I learned the importance of having different perspectives.

Ja: そして、それが少し怖いけどとても楽しかったんだ。」
En: And while it was a bit scary, it was also very enjoyable."

Ja: 二人は驚いたように耳を傾け、それから笑顔になりました。
En: The two listened intently, surprised, and then smiled.

Ja: 「そんなに素晴らしい経験をしたんだね。
