En: The cozy mountain hotel at the edge of the slopes was brightly lit, yet the threatening snowstorm cloud on the horizon left no one careless.

De: Lukas, der Skilehrer, stand am Fenster und blickte in den Himmel.
En: Lukas, the ski instructor, stood by the window and looked at the sky.
