Story Transcript:

En: Frejas fingers drummed nervously on the small café table at Freelancer's Home.

En: The room was filled with a cozy aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a gentle breeze from the windows decorated with carved pumpkins for Halloween.

En: Freja usually loved this time of year, but right now, the long beech leaves felt more like a burden than a joy.

En: Nikolaj and Sofus sat down at the table with their cups.

En: They had decided to meet at this little café to prepare for the upcoming exam.

En: Freja had heard from them in class that group studies could be beneficial, but she was nervous.

En: She had always done well on her own, but the pressure from the increasing workload had started to wear on her.

Da: "Er I klar til at starte?"
En: "Are you ready to start?"

En: asked Sofus, looking up from his notes.

Da: Freja forsøgte at smile, men hendes indre stress begyndte at overtage.
En: Freja tried to smile, but her inner stress began to take over.

Da: Hun følte, at facaden krakelerede.
En: She felt the facade cracking.

En: "Yes, I think so," her voice sounded weaker than expected.

En: Nikolaj, sitting in the middle of his own book, noticed her concern.

En: He put down the pencil and looked her directly in the eyes.

Da: "Freja, er alt okay?"
En: "Freja, is everything okay?"

En: He could see through her, and Freja felt a sudden urge to admit everything.

Da: Trykkende ord, som hun havde holdt skjult, flød ud.
En: Pressing words, which she had kept hidden, flowed out.

Da: "Jeg er faktisk virkelig overvældet," indrømmede hun.
En: "I'm actually really overwhelmed," she admitted.

En: "I feel pressured to do well, but I'm having a hard time focusing."

En: There was a pause, standing like a gentle autumn breeze among them.

En: But to Freja's surprise, Nikolaj and Sofus smiled encouragingly.

En: "We actually feel the same way," said Sofus, and Nikolaj nodded in agreement.

Da: "Vi stressede...
