Story Transcript:

En: On one warm autumn evening, Zayd stood on the high platform of Burj Khalifa, gazing at the lights of Dubai that twinkled like distant stars in the sky.

En: This was his first visit to the UAE, where he was attending an architecture conference.

En: Next to Zayd stood Layla, his sister whom he hadn't met in many years.

En: Layla had been living in another country, and the silence between them had stretched for too long.

En: Zayd hoped this moment would be a turning point, a chance to rebuild their relationship.

En: Layla was hesitant.

En: Their past was filled with misunderstandings, and she wasn't ready to trust Zayd again easily.

En: But something about this evening, something in the stillness surrounding them, prompted Zayd to speak.

En: Zayd said in a calm voice, "Layla, we are here now, above this big city.

En: I want you to know that I missed you.

En: I missed talking to you, and I missed the moments where we felt like we were one team."

En: Layla looked at Zayd, and her eyes sparkled with a mix of confusion and interest.

En: She continued listening in silence.

En: Zayd continued, "I know we have been silent for too long and misunderstood each other.

En: Today, I want to open my heart to you.

En: What happened was a result of misunderstanding, not a lack of love."

En: Layla stepped closer to Zayd, feeling the armor of caution she had put up begin to crumble.

En: She started to recall childhood moments, the beautiful days they spent together.

En: Finally, Layla spoke, "Zayd, time changes us.

En: Maybe I was sad and angry, but I want to believe in our ability to start anew."

En: A feeling of personal warmth swept over them amidst the towering building and the hustle below.

En: Moments of silence communicated between them more than any words could.

En: With a sad smile, Zayd...
