Fleetwood Mac “Live” was released by Warner Bros. on December 8, 1980. The album features 15 performances from Fleetwood Mac spanning 1975 to 1980. This was the first live album from the band featuring the then current line-up of the band.
The album also includes three new songs: Christine McVie’s “One More Night,” Stevie Nicks’ “Fireflies,” and a Beach Boys cover, “The Farmer’s Daughter.”
Released during the 1980 holiday season, the album climbed to #14 on the Billboard 200 by January 18, 1981.
Two singles were issued: “The Farmer’s Daughter” and a remixed “Fireflies,” which reached number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry of America for 500,000 units sold in the US.
On April 9, 2021, Rhino reissued the album in a deluxe box set with 2 CDs, 2 LPs, and a 7-inch vinyl featuring demos of “Fireflies” and “One More Night.” The reissue also expanded the tracklist to include live performances from the 1977 Rumours tour and the 1982 Mirage tour.
