The 2024-2025 Season Officially Starts Tomorrow, October 7 . We started off discussing Kirill Kaprizov tearing down his original $16 million contract. Then, 72 hours later, accepting an 8 Year 137 million dollar extension. Our team shared our thoughts on the upcoming season . 

Owen Shares that he’s so excited for the Blues vs Washington Games . 

I shared how I’m very  excited for Utah to finally be called the mammoth 🦣 

Kyle and I both want a Canada Vs USA Rematch . We talk changes to the American team Roster . 

We talked about Broadcast changes , losing John Kelly as television play-by-play host to LA.

Holy Free Agency

Thanks for joining us for Episode 8. We first start the show with Owen’s Crash-out . Turns out the Washington Capitals had different ideas on improving their team . We take a look at all the team’s new faces . Our jaws dropped  at some of the contracts that were made . We take a look at Florida's lineup. Players like Barkov , Marchand , Tkachuk , and Lindell , all locked down until 2030 . They are VERY close to becoming a dynasty. 

We discuss our thoughts on Neck Guards that will become mandatory in the next 2 Seasons . We take a look at multiple games from St.Louis on them giving up the Lead of the game in the last period of play, 6 on 5 . This was a crazy Year for Free Agency

We Find out Alex Petro. Will miss the Whole 2025-26 season to undergo Multiple surgeries. Freeing up much-needed Cap space . 

After the War of Game 4 

Edmonton rallied from being down 3-0 at the end of the first period . Florida responded and tied the game 4-4 to force Overtime, which Edmonton won 8 minutes in . The Crew, Kyle and Owen, and I talked about all the great things we saw in that remarkable comeback story of game 4. We discussed Mitch Marner and whether he could fit into the roster of the Carolina Hurricanes. We took a look at the additions that Anaheim acquired. Jacob Trouba , Chris Kreider, along with Radko Gudas beginning his second year in California . In addition. We spoke on who has higher expectations between Detroit and Buffalo, New York, going into this upcoming season.

After Defeating Vegas and finishing the Dallas Stars in 5 Games . The Edmonton Oilers are heading back to the Stanley Cup final vs the defending champion Florida Panthers. Who have also clawed their way back into the final series. Defeating both Tampa and Toronto and finishing Carolina in 5 Games, they have a chance to keep the cup in Florida . 

We were blessed to have everyone on this show. We spoke about both teaming depth scoring and Goaltending, key booths that both teams made during the trade deadline, the Oilers adding Jeff Skinner and Trent Frederic, and the Panthers adding Brad Marchand and Seth Jones. We discussed how much they have Stepped up . 

We took a look at UFA defensemen and goalies who can sign with a new team this July .

With the Blues picking up their game-breaking, a Franchise record of a 12-game winning streak, our hometown team wants to see Playoff Hockey . Kyle and I broke down the First round match-ups. debating on Florida's ability to go back to the Stanley Cup final with adding Seth Jones, Brad Marchand . 

We spoke about it being very different, not seeing the New York Rangers , Boston, or Pittsburgh in these playoffs . Seeing how tight the Western Conference has been for the back half of the year excites the team, and they can’t wait for Saturday .

We started off discussing our St.Louis Blues Coming back from the Four Nations Faceoff  , To winning 4 Straight . We lost to a strong Dallas Stars Team and face the Los Angeles Kings tonight . We discussed whether the Blues are Sellers or Buyers for the Trade Deadline that opens on March 7th . Took a look at the team’s contacts and took many different positions on mock trades for Binnington, Schenn , and Kyrou. Most of the team agrees that Trading out number one goalie is too risky if the goal is to Lock in hopes for a Push to the playoffs .

Took a look at both West and Eastern Divisions Washington capitals have laser focus on holding first place 

When Drew Joins the Pod We have a long talk about the Four Nations Face-off. We talked about what we liked and what we didn’t , And now this electric Tournament fuels anticipation for the upcoming Olympics. Lastly, we talked about the Championship OT goal score by McDavid .

The Washington Capitals versus the Vancouver Canucks. The team was very impressed to see Norris Trophy winner Quinn Hughes Scoring 2 and only Goals .
