Brent grew up in Southern California with Lutheran roots. When his parents divorces while he was in the 5th grade he stopped attending. During his college years he took up an greater interest in finding God. This is rather unusual for a Southern California college aged. But Brent had a deep desire to read and understand the Bible better. The providence of God brought him to a wonderful group of Christians.
