It's crazy to think that Justin Gatlin and Asafa Powell have known each other for more than half their lives. Now for the first time ever, they're having a conversation and spending time together in Jamaica. We get to learn about Justin off the track and the amazing dynamic between these two legends.

Today is very special as we welcome my mom to the show. We learn about her story and really give us the chance to meet her through this medium. From the resilience and fortitude she has with the adversity she faced to meeting Asafa and watching her daughter grow up and get married. Plus, advice for all the couples out there.
From the first time Asafa and Ajani met in 2008, Safa knew he would be in his spirit. At the time he had just retired from the NBA. Starting in track and field, basketball found him. As a scholar at Georgia Tech, he walked onto the basketball team. Years later signing with the Atlanta Hawks was a full circle moment for Ajani. How athletes transition into business should begin before retirement, and treating business as a skill.
Today it's just me, and im talking about becoming a mom, and leaving the baggage behind. It's about letting go of the negativity and not allowing it live rent free in your headspace. Making sure im saying NO when it makes sense, and not being a people pleaser.
Today I am the full amazing Powell, since hubby isn’t here and because it’s a girls conversation with my Toronto family. Both fitness trainers, looking fit, thick, and snatched with my girls Eva and Britney!

We have a lot going on in our lives but we’re happy to be back. Just a reminder, make sure to surround yourself with those people that continue to push you forward and remember that one thing that is not guaranteed is the time we have on this earth. Don’t take time for granted and be grateful for those little moments. You can’t buy time and life will continue to test you in the toughest of ways. It’s fine to go through all the emotions as long as you don’t get stuck in negative space and you can find outlets to release your feelings. Get out of the house and enjoy the people and experiences that bring you joy! https://www.instagram.com/millerpowell_alyshia/ https://www.instagram.com/asafasub10king/ https://www.instagram.com/tidalleague/
Today we are here with our friends the Morgans! On this episode we talk about marriage, friendship and the evolution of relationships as they are constantly changing. It is important that you are aware of those who you surround yourself with as they can have a significant influence over you. Some people in your circle might not completely understand the commitment of marriage and the type of discipline and work it takes to maintain. All couples fight but how can you proactively work through these difficult times together? If there is no communication within your relationship, how can you expect it to withstand obstacles that come along the way? Ultimately, not everyone is ready for marriage so there is no reason to take this next step in your relationship if you are not prepared for what comes with it. https://www.instagram.com/millerpowell_alyshia/ https://www.instagram.com/asafasub10king/ https://www.instagram.com/tidalleague/
We are back! Today we are talking about how we decided that we were the ones for each other. Asafa was once living it up in that single life and didn't think think he was ever going to settle down so what happened? What really stood out for us was that we genuinely wanted to get to know each other. So ladies and gentleman, don't try to change the person you are with and it might sound cliché but you will just know when you have found that special someone. https://www.instagram.com/millerpowell_alyshia/ https://www.instagram.com/asafasub10king/ https://www.instagram.com/tidalleague/
Track and Field phenom Noah Lyles joins the podcast today! We talk about about his growth as an athlete and how he is using his own content platform to tell his story. I have a lot of respect for Noah and what he has done so far in his career. He shares stories from his childhood and the iconic moment he broke the American record at 200M. How is Noah impacting the sport on and off the track and what is the level of sacrifice that it takes to be a champion? https://www.instagram.com/millerpowell_alyshia/ https://www.instagram.com/asafasub10king/ https://www.instagram.com/tidalleague/
Today I am joined by some amazing ladies to have a girl chat. We discuss how women can go about supporting each other rather than be overcome with jealousy. What is the reason why there is a competitive nature among women? Is it society that has made put us against each other? We also talk about relationships and what we have learned about men over the years. https://www.instagram.com/millerpowell_alyshia/ https://www.instagram.com/asafasub10king/ https://www.instagram.com/tidalleague/
