We spoke with comic book author Eliot Rahal, who has penned hit titles such as Bleed Them Dry, Cult Classic: Creature Feature, Divinity, and Amelia Aierwood. Having worked with some of the most beloved indie comic publishers, his latest venture takes him to Mad Cave Studios for Under the Influence. The debut issue arrives at local comic shops on July 5th and tells the story of Paul Kozac who inadvertently creates an internet cult called The Hot Dog Party. Elito shares the idea behind this insane premise for a comic that is oddly relatable and touches on many issues, the structure of social media, and some of the communities amongst it today.
