"To Me, My X-Men!"
Marvel Monthly is BACK on the podcast with Spencer and Tim trying to figure out the state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before discussing the sleeper hit of the year, X-Men '97.
"Fan-fiction," "too-early legacy sequel," "bad" and many other words are used by our trio as they attempt to dissect the ridiculousness of the 5th and final Pirates entry. Stay to the end for what may be the wildest age-related trivia of the entire franchise.
Spencer carries the trio into the spinoff seas with Pirates 4. The episode gets wild as they talk the movies' interesting choices, the book it was based off of, and what made it STILL the most expensive movie ever made.
This week the trio attempt to unpack the finale of the trilogy/middle of the Pirate franchise's many twists, plot holes, and inconsistencies, ultimately trying to find the answer to the question, can a movie be fun and unmemorable?
We're back! Spencer kicks us off with a catch-all of news and speculation about Deadpool and Wolverine, Fantastic Four, and SUPERMAN, and then Tim sandwalks us through a review of the phenomenon that is Dune Part Two (but someone hated it...)
The Pirates Rewatch returns as Spencer takes us into the massive sequel to Black Pearl. Spencer gets very nitpicky on the title, the trio try to decide what kind of pirate deity/mythos Davy Jones fills, and of course, lots of talk on cannibals and 1 gigantic wheel.
Note - we recorded this prior to the Season 2 announcement and we're all very pleased to see this show move forward (hopefully with a bigger budget this go around). Enjoy our review! Let us know your thoughts via our social media pages.
Shiver me podcasts! It's high time for a new rewatch as the trio venture into over-charted waters with the Pirates of the Caribbean Series with the objectively best first movie. Spencer makes fun of test audiences, all three acknowledge the score carries the movie a bit, and Cole gets into trivia, specifically the dozens of actors considered to play Captain Jack Sparrow.
In Episode 2 of Season 9, the trio and guest Isabel discuss all things Marvel Echo, a celebration of Choctaw and Oklahoma Heritage but also a good show, and What If...?'s significantly better second season.
In our Season 9 opener, Spencer, Cole, and Tim talk about the show's small fixes of the book's errors, more god cameos, character performance inconsistencies, and Spencer mourns about Bruce Springsteen.
The trio reunite to cover the long anticipated Percy Jackson Premiere!
Spencer has some issues with pace, Cole nitpicks like every megafan should, and somehow Tim loves all TV now.
Alongside discussing the two major Marvel Studios projects that released on the same day, Spencer, Cole and Tim try to decide if "Echo" is going to be bad and if the MCU really is in shambles.

In this edition of DC Digest, Spencer drags Cole and Tim both laughing and sighing through 'Dick Donner's' wild Superman movies. They also talk a little bit about the weird legacy that followed them.
In this special episode covering all things Dune, the trio revisit "Dune, Part One" in anticipation for "Dune, Part Two," Spencer gives his thoughts on the Original Novel and Dune: Messiah, and Spencer unveils a Dune adaptation that time forgot.
In the Season 8 Opener, Spencer supports a Shia LaBeouf movie, Cole doesn't know what ChatGPT is, and Tim apparently hated WALL-E (are any of us really surprised?).
Thanks for tuning in to Season 8, Episode 1! See you next week.
Posting the last recorded content of Season 7 for those that wanted our thoughts on Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning and Secret Invasion.
Season 8 begins October 20th! See you then - for now, enjoy!
Spencer, Tim, and Cole finish off covering every Indiana Jones movie on the podcast with their full review of the just-released Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

The Flash - is it good? Is it bad? ....... is it too much to ask for both?
In our second edition of DC Digest, Tim tries to reel in Cole's praises and Spencer's trashing in an attempt to make a cohesive review. Tune in to our hot mess this weekend, and maybe not the Flash. (Listen to the first 8 minutes for Non-Spoilers!)
Back by popular demand, we're grinding our way through another bracket. This one we are working our way through essentially every major villain in history. But only one can be the best...
