The Christian should not desire public approval but God’s favor; should not grumble but live with gratitude; nor should they just shun unbelievers, but instead should seek to wisely use every opportunity afforded to them to point unbelievers to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Even in the midst of the fiercest storms of life, God remains sovereign, His purposes remain good, and His Word will most assuredly come to pass.

In the storms of life, Christians are to trust in God's sovereign purposes, take faithful action, and courageously bear witness to their God. Knowing that such courage may embolden others to follow their lead.

Even in the midst of the fiercest storms of life, Christians can look to the hope they have in Jesus Christ, know that God will sustain them until they complete the work He has prepared for them, and rest in full confidence that their God will keep every promise He has made.

The Christian life is marked by the blessing of Christian friendship, the courage to offer wise advice to others for their own good, and the faithfulness to pray for those who reject that wise advice.

The faithful servant of Christ under pressure is reasonable in speech, radical in witness, and relentlessness in persuasion, in light of the glory of Christ.

The Christian life is one that speaks up for the voiceless, judges without partiality, and defends without hesitation those who cannot defend themselves.

Although the pomp, and power, and prestige of this world will all fade away, the Gospel of Jesus Christ will endure, advance, and prevail; therefore, as God’s people, we must boldly proclaim it and live in a manner worthy of it before the world around us.

Though evil men may delay justice, twist the truth, or seek your harm, our sovereign God providentially works through every circumstance to advance His kingdom and to accomplish His will.

Head knowledge alone will never save; only faith in Jesus Christ saves. Therefore, as those who have set their minds on what is eternal rather than on the fading riches of this world, we must urgently call people to repent and to believe in the gospel today.

Though people may lie about us, we must keep a clear conscience before God and remain faithful to Him, and our hope in the resurrection can compel us to do that.

God extraordinarily and providentially directs all things, using unlikely means for the protection of His people and the propagation of the gospel.

The Lord is faithful to His word. So find comfort in His will, trusting and knowing that He is with you and He will keep you.

Christians should speak the truth boldly but respectfully, exercise wisdom in difficult conversations, and take courage in the sovereignty of God, even when faithful service to Him is hard and leads to discouragement.

Christians must not be surprised when they are rejected for speaking the truth. And yet, they can still wisely appeal to legal protections when injustice comes their way, even as they seek to remain faithful in bearing witness to the truth.

The people of God, who are made up of individuals from throughout this entire world, must be a people who earnestly seek God’s will and who joyfully obey it.

God can save anyone He wills by His grace, even those who are most hostile toward Him. Therefore, we should always be willing to bear witness to Jesus Christ before unbelievers and even be willing to share our own conversion stories as a bridge to lead them to Jesus Christ as well.

Though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil. For God is with you.
