NaPodPoMo Day 12 marks our fifth trip in The TARDIS! Mark and Seth continue their look at the lost Patrick Troughton Doctor Who story Fury From the Deep that was recently re-released as an animated adaption.







The Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria realize The Weed Creature had compromised several rigs and possibly Robson himself, the controller of the entire facility. Can The Doctor save the lives of everybody before time runs out?

It’s another trip in the TARDIS for NaPodPoMo Day Four. Mark and Seth return to talk the second episode of the lost Patrick Troughton story Fury From the Deep that was recently remade into an animated release.







After Victoria is locked in a room with toxic gas, The Doctor fears there may be a deadly danger beneath a natural as refinery that could prove deadly.



Seth mentions during the episode how a fan took a video of Christopher Eccleston reciting WWI-era poetry and edited into a Doctor Who montage.

NaPodPoMo Day Three takes us to the world of Doctor Who and the return of our Examining The Doctor podcast after a year-long absence. Mark and Seth return to their TARDIS to talk the lost Patrick Troughton story Fury From the Deep that was recently remade into an animated release.

It’s the month of Halloween, so Mark and Seth discuss a spooky classic, the Tom Baker story Horror of Fang Rock.







Horror of Fang Rock was the first story in Season 15 of Doctor Who. It was loosely inspired by a real-life incident from 1900 where three lighthouse workers mysteriously vanished from a lighthouse never to be seen or heard from again.



Seth also discusses “The Max Headroom Incident” where an unknown hacker pirated the signal of a PBS airing of the episode and broadcasted for a few minutes wearing a Max Headroom mask.

Mark and Seth return to talk about the penultimate episode of the lost Patrick Troughton story The Faceless Ones. The entire story was released last year as an animated reconstruction since several episodes were lost after they aired in 1967.







The Doctor learns the true reason behind Chameleon Tours and their abduction of young humans. Plus Jamie finds himself in space onboard the alien satellite!

BREAKING: Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall Leaving Doctor Who



On a special supplemental episode of Examining The Doctor, Mark and Seth talk about the breaking news that both Doctor Who showrunner Chris Chibnall and The Doctor herself Jodie Whittaker will leave the show after the conclusion of the next season.
