This week, I had the super talented, 3 time Austin Music winning, Mexican American sister trio, Tiarra Girls. I got to chance to know them on personal level as they talked about their upbringing and how they came to be a band. We talked about how important it is to amplify the causes they believe in by advocating through their music and platform. They shared about what the writing process is like and how their supportive parents has made a positive influence on their lives and as a group. I got the chance to ask lead singer Tori about her coming out story and courage it took to share that with her parents and grandparents.
