This week I share about my medical history with stress and how it has manifested in my body over the years. From getting tummy aches when I was in elementary because of bad notes home to almost dying from a brain hemorrhage in 2011 to a frozen shoulder due to unbearable stress- I share my story to be a mirror for you. Maybe my story sounds familiar to you and you have been experiencing something similar. Maybe it's not just a tummy ache or a acne breakout...look at what is stressing you in your life that maybe showing up in your body. This is your reminder to pay attention to the alarms your body is giving you and to not ignore them because it can be fatal. Culturally, whether Latino or Asian, we have normalized constant stress and keep on trucking. Culturally we normalized not going to the doctor and waiting till its unmanageable. It's stories like mine that opens up the conversations to take better care of ourselves.
The pod is back this week with a long awaited episode with the amazing and inspirational Dulce Toscano. Back in September 2022, I got the chance to sit down with Dulce and reflect on how the past year and half of traveling aboard and running a successful coaching business has been. We also talk about being a first generation daughter and healing her inner niña through the life she is building for her self. This one of my favorite episodes thus far and I can't wait for you all to hear it!

This week, Dr. Christina Vivit joined me in the Kumu USA Los Angeles studio! She is a doctor of physical therapy, a life coach, and host of the BIPOC Rising podcast. We discuss her healing journey as a health care provider and being able to show up in the community as a life coach. It’s such a treat to hear Christina as a first generation Filipino American talk about healing and inner peace in a way that is attainable and sustainable while being a health care provider.

What is poppin'!!! This episode was recorded exactly 1 week after Roe vs Wade was reversed. Goddess Lore, an Embodiment Sexologist coach, host of the Sexual Frequency podcast and my very good friend, joined me to discuss the fuckery that is the Supreme Court reversal of Roe vs Wade. Even Goddess's beloved bird, Peebo is ranting in the background. We are all pissed!
We share our feelings post Roe and we talk all aspects of how this decision affects women in the United States and essentially how we think we got here.
I never had an episode like this where I felt safe enough to discuss topics like this but one thing I am super passionate about is women's rights and keeping the government out of our vaginas.
At the end of the day, this ruling only inspires me to hold even bigger space to hold healing conversations and to support BIPOC communities as best as I know how. We will persist and we will overcome.

On this week's episode, I reflect on the major life changes that have been happening in my life and how it's affected my family as a whole. Back in December on my final episode of season 3, I had no idea that stepping into being a super expander that my life would take some major uncomfortable turns. We experienced some of the lowest of lows in this challenging season of our lives and now we're trying to recover, process the last 8 months and gently move on.
Let this episode be the reminder for you when life seems like it's falling apart, it's actually falling into place.
SEASON 4 IS LIVE!! It feels so good to be back and in the studio again!!
I have a podcast guest wishlist and Anita Mae Aguilar from Manifesting Money podcast was right at the top. And I can’t believe she said yes to not only being on my podcast but to do my live show with me in front of a studio audience in Los Angeles!
I’ve been watching Anita’s journey on TikTok back when she only had a couple thousand followers. It's been so inspiring for me to watch her glow the eff up!! With over 200k downloads on her amazing podcast and close to 400K followers on TikTok, Anita's story is nothing short of inspiring. Plus, she gives so many gems away for free!!!
Anita and I talk about her story thus far and the events that happened that made way for the abundance flowing into her life now. We breakdown the mindset on how to trust and have patience with yourself and the Universe as you are intentionally manifesting.
Also touch on understanding where we came from and our beliefs around money passed down from our ancestors, to our parents and then to us. I'm so excited for you to hear this episode and I'm so stoked to be back and podcasting again.

Season 3 finale is here! I didn't see this year ending like this but when you are a super expander and in flow, the Universe shows up for you in the best ways. With adapting, I had to make the hard decision the say good bye to The Good News Radio Network. The opportunity to work with One Down Media and Kumu is potentially life changing and I'm ready to seize the all that is in front of me. With that to say, the past 6 months of joining TGN Latinx and TGN has been such a good opportunity with my brand and podcast. I have learned and experienced so much and in the deepest gratitude for Keith, Jackie, Kirsten and the whole fam for welcoming me with open arms.
This week, I finally got to meet my boo, Filipino American plus size model, Vanessa Camille! This is our second convo together but first in person She joined me at my new home One Dwn Media studios and we streamed live on the Kumu app. We talked everything from her experience at the BTS concert, masculine/feminine trends in fashion, and Vanessa's glow up since the last time we spoke. It was such a blessing to meet her in person and vibe with her, it was truly a gift. Follow Vanessa on Instagram, TikTok, & Kumu @vanessaxcamille
This week I talk about how busy these couple of weeks have been for every aspect of my life, for my podcast, my brand, and my personal life. Life is definitely life-ing right now, haha. But I'm built for this. I talk about how I wished for the very things that are happening in my life right now.
This week for my new series, Healing in Community I sat down with Coach Poppers & Coach Rich from the Banning Pilots football team. Over the years I have watched my friends pour their time and dedication into the youth football programs in the city of Wilmington, California. We talked about how it was like to bring back champion mentality to the BHS football program while living through a pandemic and how community support is so important to it’s success. Thank you special local sponsors @wilmington_barberlounge @shopludic @glowing.with.goodness for supporting my podcast✨
This week, I had the super talented, 3 time Austin Music winning, Mexican American sister trio, Tiarra Girls. I got to chance to know them on personal level as they talked about their upbringing and how they came to be a band. We talked about how important it is to amplify the causes they believe in by advocating through their music and platform. They shared about what the writing process is like and how their supportive parents has made a positive influence on their lives and as a group. I got the chance to ask lead singer Tori about her coming out story and courage it took to share that with her parents and grandparents. This episode is by far at the top of my favorites and I'm so excited for you to hear our conversation!

This week, I share what everyone goes through at one point...QUITTING. Life has been challenging lately I'm not going to lie. I talk about my recent panic attacks and the moment I really contemplated quitting EVERYTHING. But I've quit before....this time wasn't the same as before. This time I have set so many things in motion that it was so much harder to undo all the things I have in motion...like speaking engagements, sponsorships, Magical Mujer Collective...like people actually depend on me now. I share how that thought process went and how a phone call reminded me that the Universe is always working in my favor.
This week, I share my grief story and how celebrating Dia de Los Muertos has been very healing as I mourn my family members that have passed on. I also bring to light that on my birthday day this year, my Abuelito passed away and how I feel super honored that he transitioned on my actual birthday. Even though, I didn't have a relationship with him or got to grow up with him, I always longed for him to be a part of my life and I was making an more intentional effort to practice my Spanish for the day I got to go to Mexico and visit him. Although, meeting him will never happen now, I finally get to share something with him, September 8th. Even though, my family is devastated of his passing, I feel a bit closer to him because he earned his angel wings on my day of birth. This episode was near and dear to my heart. I hope you enjoy this episode and if you are currently mourning/grieving I hope my story can bring you something to look forward to. .
This week, my good friend Sean Sani also known as Brown Papi aka South East Asian Papi came by the studio! We continued our conversation on dating and relating as he is navigating dating life during a pandemic and hearing his point of view from a male perspective. Sean talked about how growing up in a broken home had an affect on his first relationship and how it's helped him understand the choices he's made. We also talked about the catalyst that changed his point of view on how he approaches new relationships and how important it is to be clear about his intentions.
This week I was super excited to meet one of my Clubhouse friends in real life, Alex Grubbs. Alex and I have been in conversations with each other in the on Clubhouse about being half Filipino and what our experiences have been like. It was so refreshing to speak with on things that I felt were so exclusively only my own experience. We talked about Alex's upbringing in a mixed family in Pittsburg and how it affected how it view himself. We had lots of laughs about the common misconceptions and stereotypes. We talked about how it was like trying into fit into Filipino spaces while only being half. It was so beautiful to talk about how we are actively healing our identity to understand that we are whole and enough as we are.

This week I get into the viral sensation of La 69 and what I have now called the Jenny 69 effect. Beauty influencer and popular Youtube influencer Jenny 69 has been making big waves with the release of her song, La 69. I wanted to talk about this week because I've come across more hate and negative comments about her. Many comments surround her lack of talent and how other singers don't get any limelight because of artist like her. I beg to differ....this type of mentality is the exact reason why those artist are not exactly where they want to be. Someone else's success doesn't dim your light at all. I want to encourage, always, that instead of thinking "why her and not me" to reframe that to "if she can do it, I can do it too". It is essential to our own path and journey that we channel jealousy of what someone else is experiencing to turn that into excitement for your own journey. Regardless if you like the song or Jenny 69, you can't deny that she has mastered the art of turning her haters in dollars and I am here for it.
This episode is dedicated to my brother. He would've been 42 years old this year and I am definitely feeling his energy when I am in the studio.
This week I had the honor and privilege to have Keith Good News with me and speak life into all of us. He truly is a visionary and he has had quite a journey so far but he is far from being done. Keith is the Founder and CEO of The Good News Radio Network, the host of the TOP of the Morning podcast, a family man, a girl Dad, a rapper and most recently a marathon runner. We talked about how his first podcast, The Good News Radio show birthed The Good News Radio Network that is now home to 3 stations with 27 podcast shows. It was fun talking to him about what the journey has been and what the future looks like. It's an honor to know a real life visionary like him and for the Evolve with Nicolette podcast be a part of the evolving TGN story.
