This week I get into the viral sensation of La 69 and what I have now called the Jenny 69 effect. Beauty influencer and popular Youtube influencer Jenny 69 has been making big waves with the release of her song, La 69. I wanted to talk about this week because I've come across more hate and negative comments about her. Many comments surround her lack of talent and how other singers don't get any limelight because of artist like her. I beg to differ....this type of mentality is the exact reason why those artist are not exactly where they want to be. Someone else's success doesn't dim your light at all. I want to encourage, always, that instead of thinking "why her and not me" to reframe that to "if she can do it, I can do it too". It is essential to our own path and journey that we channel jealousy of what someone else is experiencing to turn that into excitement for your own journey. Regardless if you like the song or Jenny 69, you can't deny that she has mastered the art of turning her haters in dollars and I am here for it.
