The world of ‘sync’ is often one of the least understood realms within the wide world of music. The ability to get a song placed (or ‘synced’) on a commercial or in a film or on tv is an art unto itself. Our guest today is one of the hottest ‘sync’ artists working in the business.
Kali J is a fast rising, independent pop and sync artist. No stranger to national campaigns, her efforts have earned her over 400 placements with brands such as: Coke, Comcast, Pepsi, Liquid I.V., Google, Samsung, Verizon, Intel, Chase Bank, Bumble, Bose, Best Buy, Nintendo, Nestle, Hyundai, Rite Aid, Glade, Volkswagen, United Healthcare, Facebook, Famous Footwear, Maybelline, Degree, TikTok, Clorox, Coors, Pizza Hut, Target, Nordstrom, Peloton, and more.

Bobbi Smith has been a Canadian recording artist since she was 10 years old. Her first single “Sweetwater” became a controversial track but Bobbi’s career quickly took off as an era of “young country” was on the rise in the entertainment industry. Bobbi continued to release music all through her teens as a successful indie artist with several single releases charting in the Top 50, Top 40 and her highest charting song as a solo artist at #22 on Canada’s national BDS charts.
