"Original Sin" theology can be one of the true blockades for former Evangelicals in a Post-Evangelical world. Healing from religious trauma needs to be unhitched from the idea that "I'm a sinner because I was born a sinner." It's not only bad theology, it's bad for the emotional and spiritual well-being of a human being.
