My guest this week lives in Dresden, is a DJ, is a producer and for me is clearly behind the legendary club ‘Strasse E’ to which even DJ Rush dedicated his own track at some point. So my guest today is Clark B. He started out in the early 90s as DJ X somewhere in the hardcore and gabba scene, but later changed his mind and discovered trance and techno for himself. At the end of the 90s, he came to house music, a clear change in musical style at the latest. As a result, he specialised somewhere around house and techno and changed his name from then on to ‘Clark B’, which he still uses today. Some people, like me, remember events at the legendary Club Strasse E with names like Claude Young, Alan Oldham or DJ Rush. Clark B was behind all of these from 1999 to 2004.
