In the course of life, we do face some form of rejection which could likely be a rejection from mother, father, family, people, teachers, authority figures, pastors, cultural rejection, societal rejection or even rejection from the womb. These could lead us to suffer from some trauma or shape our way of life. I am going to talk about rejection (the denial of love or acceptance) and how to overcome it and be delivered from it. To give you an understanding of how this operates, let's look at what rejection is and then look at some major characters in the Bible and how they redirected their feel of rejection. Rejection can be painful, leaving scars on the heart and mind, but it can also serve as a divine redirection toward God’s purpose.
One of the most destructive circumstances of life happens when you find yourself stuck in the wrong place. When you find that you're in a place that is not good for you, but you're unable to move away from it. Sometimes we find ourselves in a place that is wrong for us because we were born into it. Other times, it is because some people make decisions and land us in a bad place. Or we could find ourselves in a bad place because of decisions we have made ourselves. So when you find yourself in a bad spot, what do you do? I say that you "arise and you depart".
