Audrey Carmes is a composer and artist based in Paris, France. Having graduated from the Paris School of Fine Art, she found herself drawn towards the city’s experimental electronic music, developing a sound practice that she combined with her poetry and writing. On her spellbinding debut album Quelque chose s'est dissipé, Carmes creates spacious worlds that shimmer with subtle intricacy. Inspired by krautrock, ambient and avant-garde electronic music, the French artist draws on a range of sonic elements to create her own distinct blend of sound design and composition.

🎙️Fanny Chiarello

Fanny Chiarello writes novels, poetry, and children's literature. She enjoys changing worlds, forms, and tones with each new piece of writing. To fuel her work, she explores cities and the countryside, running or cycling with her camera. In her spare time, she compiles a directory of underground female sound artists from around the world.

Sébastien Pluot is an art historian, researcher, and exhibition curator, co-director of Art by Translation (ESAD TALM, ENSAPC). He has curated numerous exhibitions and conferences on the works of Alison Knowles, Mel Bochner, and Christopher D’Arcangelo, as well as group exhibitions such as "Art by Telephone Recalled", "Time Capsules 2045", "The Intolerable Straight Line", "Dernières nouvelles de l’Ether", "Une lettre arrive toujours à destination", "Double Bind, Arrêtez d’essayer de me comprendre". He has taught as a guest professor at Barnard College, CalArts, CUNY, Terra Foundation Summer Residency, SFAI, Sorbonne Université, and has organized and presented lectures at Columbia University, University of Florida, NYU, Princeton University, RedCat, LACMA, Centre Georges Pompidou, Jeu de Paume, INHA, HEAD, etc.

Born in 1976 in New York, artist Ellie Ga's practice explores the limits of photographic documentation through her work on different narrative genres. She is co-founder of Ugly Duckling Presse.

🎙️Fabien Giraud

Born in 1980, Fabien Giraud has formed the artist duo Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni since 2007. Their work explores possible worlds and alternative narratives of the past, present and future. Their films, as well as their sculptures, performance pieces and installations, make up an ambitious body of work that tirelessly questions the powers and limits of technology.

🎙️Éric Baudelaire is an artist and filmmaker based in Paris, France. Rooted in a critical tradition that draws on both conceptual art and Godardian cinema, the work of Éric Baudelaire seeks to "bring into crisis" the systems of representation that structure contemporary imagination. His feature films A Flower in the Mouth, Un film dramatique, Also Known as Jihadi, Letters to Max, The Ugly one have circulated widely in film festivals. Baudelaire has had monographic exhibitions at the Witte de With, Rotterdam, Tabakalera, San Sebastian, the Fridericianum, Kassel, the Beirut Art Center, Gasworks, London, and the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, and has participated in the 2017 Whitney Biennale, the 2014 Yokohama Triennale, and so on.

In 2019, he was the recipient of a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, and the Prix Marcel Duchamp.

🎙️Mona Hackel graduated from the École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine d'Épinal in "image and narrative", her artistic practice lies somewhere between illustration, publishing and radio. She recently published a radio documentary on Soundcloud « SOLID, mutual aid in the facing systemic violence in Athens » that takes the pulse of radical struggles from the center to the periphery of Athens.

She has also questioned the controversial term 'world music' in her music programme 'La World Music n'existe pas', looking at the diversity of traditional and popular music from around the Mediterranean, the MENA regions and the Balkans.

🎙️Liza Maignan is a curator, independent author, and director at the Florence Loewy Gallery. She has worked with institutions such as Le Printemps de Septembre, Palais de Tokyo, and Fondation d’entreprise Pernod Ricard. Her projects include curating exhibitions like "L'Almanach des Aléas" (2019) at the Fondation d'entreprise Ricard, Paris (2019), "Sleep No More" at Placement Produit, Aubervilliers (2021), Les assistantes du vide at La Salle de Bain, Lyon (2023). 🎙️Geneviève Pruvost, winner of the CNRS bronze medal, is a sociologist of work and gender at the Centre d'étude des mouvements sociaux (EHESS), and a permaculture graduate. Her research focuses on the politicisation of the smallest gesture and ecological alternatives. Her publications include La subsistance au quotidien: Conter ce qui compte (2024), Quotidien politique. Féminisme, écologie, subsistance (2021) and, with Coline Cardi, Penser la violence des femmes (2012).

🎙️Élodie Royer is an independent curator and PhD student at the ENS in the SACRe laboratory. Her current research focuses on linking the practices of women artists in Japan in terms of their roots in their living environments, the history of disasters and environmental struggles, and ecofeminism. Since her residency at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto in 2011, she has worked regularly on and with the Japanese art scene. Between 2016 and 2020, she curated a series of exhibitions commissioned by KADIST and the MOT Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art in collaboration with Che Kyongfa. More recently, in 2022, "Les Êtres Lieux" at the Maison de la culture du Japon.

🎙️Corinne Morel Darleux is an author, essayist and eco-socialist activist. Based in the Vercors region of France, she is involved in a number of ecologist and libertarian networks and devotes her time to field activism and writing. In 2019, she will publish "Plutôt couler en beauté que flotter sans grâce", a book advocating a radical choice in the face of the threat of collapse.

🎙️Dimitris Athiridis is a documentary filmmaker and photographer from Thessaloniki, Greece. His films include the Self Admiration Society (2009), One Step Ahead (2012) and exergue – on documenta 14 (2024). The 14-hour filmfollows artistic director Adam Szymczyk and his curatorial team over two years as they prepare documenta 14. The film invites audiences into a behind-the-scenes observation of the institutional art world and the function of contemporary art in a shifting global landscape.

🎙️Marina Gioti is a visual artist and filmmaker born and based in Αthens, Greece. 

In her works, which comprise films, installations and media art pieces, she often revisits historical eras and stories offering parallel readings to dominant narratives.

In 2017 she was a participating artist at Documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel. She is the laureate of the 2022 Prix COAL for art and ecology and she is currently a fellow of the IN SITU programme at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.

🎙️Antoine Thirion is a critic and a programmer at Cinéma du Réel, and at the Berlinale.

He was a critic at Cahiers du cinéma (2001-2009) and then at Independencia, a magazine he co-founded in 2009 with Eugenio Renzi. At the Jeu de Paume / Festival d'Automne, he organised the James Benning (2009) and Lav Diaz (2015) retrospectives. At FID Marseille he is in charge of the Hong Sang-soo (2016), Roger Corman (2017) and Isabelle Huppert (2018) retrospectives.

Driven by social, feminist and climate urgency, they became aware of the importance of printed forms and their dispersal. Edition Burn Aout recently published the collective work "Politiser l'enfance" (Politicising childhood) by Vincent Romagny.

En 2021, elle a coordonné, avec le soutien de la Harvard Film Archive, la restauration de West Indies (Med Hondo, 1979) et de Sarraounia (Med Hondo, 1986). A titre d’invitée, elle est venue présenter le cycle La voix post-coloniale de Med Hondo, à la Cinémathèque québécoise en juin 2023. Elle réalise en 2022 son premier essai documentaire Le Roi n’est pas mon cousin, un film d'une trentaine de minutes où elle retrace avec sa grand-mère Elzéa Foule Aventurin une histoire familiale.

Née en 1986, Ana Vaz est une artiste et cinéaste est originaire du Cerrado au Brésil, une région de savane et de terres arides au centre du pays. Sa filmographie provoque et questionne le cinéma en tant qu'art de l'(in)visible et instrument capable de déshumaniser l'humain, élargissant les connexions avec des formes de vie autres qu'humaines ou spectrales. Conséquences ou expansion de sa cinématographie, ses activités artistiques s'incarnent également dans l'écriture, la pédagogie critique, les installations ou les marches collectives. Récemment nommée au Prix Ricard 2023, Ana Vaz a présenté Meteoro, un film renversant au sein de l’exposition Do You Believe in Ghosts? à la Fondation Pernod Ricard.

Maïa Tellit Hawad

Basée à Marseille, Maïa Tellit Hawad est une chercheuse indépendante d’origine franco-touarègue, Ses recherches questionnent les imaginaires du Sahara dans les sciences africanistes françaises et l’imbrication de la géographie, de la colonialité et des politiques de la race dans les administrations actuelles du Sahara central. Ses travaux récents s’intéressent aux devenirs nomades au sein de la société touarègue contemporaine. Elle co-réalise actuellement un premier documentaire qui s’intéresse aux femmes musiciennes touarègues de la région de Agadez.

🎙️Xavier Franceschi

Après avoir occupé la direction pendant 16 ans au FRAC Ile-de-France, Xavier Franceschi se consacre aujourd'hui à de nouveaux projets. En juin dernier, il a inauguré un lieu d'art contemporain nommé le Cercle Valrose. Uniquement sur rendez-vous et par groupe d'une dizaine de personnes, cette expérience culturelle intimiste avait inauguré avec une exposition de Pierre Paulin, comprenant quatre films et deux œuvres récentes.

🎙️Anne Le Troter

Artiste, Anne Le Troter mêle installation sonore, performance, théâtre, littérature et poésie. Après l’écriture de deux livres, elle s’est intéressée à la place qu’occupe la parole au travail à travers plusieurs pièces sonores. Invitée par la fondation Pernod Ricard, la Biennale de Rennes, le centre d’art contemporain Le Grand Café à Saint Nazaire, le Nasher Sculpture Center à Dallas et le Centre Pompidou, elle a engagé des cycles d’écriture sur la notion de biographie, de fiction et d’utopie autour de la question de nos modes de reproduction. En 2021 elle est lauréate de la bourse Bétonsalon et ADAGP, ainsi que du programme Mondes Nouveaux et de la Villa Kujoyama.

🎙️Xavier Franceschi

Après avoir occupé la direction pendant 16 ans au FRAC Ile-de-France, Xavier Franceschi se consacre aujourd'hui à de nouveaux projets. En juin dernier, il a inauguré un lieu d'art contemporain nommé le Cercle Valrose. Uniquement sur rendez-vous et par groupe d'une dizaine de personnes, cette expérience culturelle intimiste avait inauguré avec une exposition de Pierre Paulin, comprenant quatre films et deux œuvres récentes.

🎙️Anne Le Troter

Artiste, Anne Le Troter mêle installation sonore, performance, théâtre, littérature et poésie. Après l’écriture de deux livres, elle s’est intéressée à la place qu’occupe la parole au travail à travers plusieurs pièces sonores. Invitée par la fondation Pernod Ricard, la Biennale de Rennes, le centre d’art contemporain Le Grand Café à Saint Nazaire, le Nasher Sculpture Center à Dallas et le Centre Pompidou, elle a engagé des cycles d’écriture sur la notion de biographie, de fiction et d’utopie autour de la question de nos modes de reproduction. En 2021 elle est lauréate de la bourse Bétonsalon et ADAGP, ainsi que du programme Mondes Nouveaux et de la Villa Kujoyama.

Sofia Dati

Sofia Dati est une commissaire d'exposition basée à Bruxelles qui travaille à l'intersection des arts visuels et des images en mouvement. Elle est actuellement programmatrice au Beursschouwburg, centre d'arts multidisciplinaires à Bruxelles, où elle a assuré le commissariat d'expositions et de programmes cinématographiques avec Ève Gabriel Chabanon, Sina Hensel, Hoda Siahtiri, Black(s) to the Future, Eden Tinto Collins, Filipa César, Maxime Jean-Baptiste et Onyeka Igwe, entre autres. 

De 2019 à 2021, en tant que membre de l'équipe curatoriale du WIELS, à Bruxelles, elle a travaillé sur des expositions, des programmes discursifs et des publications avec les artistes Thao Nguyen Phan, Gabriel Kuri et le large éventail de voix qui ont façonné "Risquons-Tout" en une entreprise commune explorant "le risque, l'imprévisibilité et la transgression". 

Paul Maheke

Paul Maheke (1985, né à Brive-la-Gaillarde) vit et travaille à Montpellier. Maheke est diplômé de l’École nationale supérieure d’arts de Cergy et du Open School East à Londres/Margate (Royaume-Uni). À travers un corpus varié et souvent collaboratif comprenant performances, installations, son et vidéo, Maheke se penche sur le potentiel du corps comme archive afin d'examiner comment se forment et se constituent la mémoire et l'identité. 

« Cette recherche s’articule autour d’une pensée décoloniale et émancipatoire qui interroge les principes d’identité et de mémoire à travers une histoire des représentations du corps noir et queer. En faisant notamment appel à la danse, mon travail se propose de penser le corps comme une archive à réinventer, un territoire avec sa cartographie propre, une utopie à repenser par le biais de différentes stratégies de résistance. » (Text by Paul Maheke)

Cometa est un nouvel espace éphémère rue Sainte-Blaise, décrit par nos invitées comme "un espace aussi petit qu'un point clignotant dans le grand firmament. nous voulons appeler à englober et à tisser des relations éphémères. l'espace d'un flash, entre artistes activistes. photographes.cinéastes. poètes. artistes. artisanes. fashionistes. bijoutières. fleuristes. vigneronnes, amoureuses et amoureux. boulangères. fläneuses et flâneurs."

Salomé Burstein

Chercheuse et curatrice indépendante. ses travaux s'orientent autour des affects. de l'attention et des dynamiques politiques et transactionnelles qui les sous-tendent. En paralléie d'un parcours universitaire (ENS. EHESS), elle co-crée ou prend part à différents collectifs (Fe Arts.Lusted Men). Le collectif devient ensuite un de ses objets d'études au sein post-master Collective Practices Research Course à la KKH de Stockholm. En octobre 2021. elle fonde Shmorévoz. un espace indépendant dédié à l'art. l'édition à Paris. Elle travaille en tant qu'assistante curatrice à la Fondation Lafayette Anticipations.

Margot Bernard

Margot Bernard est artiste. elle vit et travaille à Paris. Sa pratique s'articule autour de la circulation de la parole. écrite et orale. de ses perspectives sociales. intimes ou collectives. Elle s'intéresse aux enjeux de création collective, percevant l'œuvre comme surface de rencontre plutôt que finalité. Elle développe une recherche autour des liens conversationnels. de ses qualités et ses failles dans nos modes de communication contemporains. Sa méthodologie se nourrit d'allers-retours entre sciences humaines et arts visuels, proposant des pièces où l'adresse et l'inclusion du public à toute son importance.
