Episode # 21, Carley || Today’s conversation with my friend, Carley, was such a sweet one. As you’ll hear, while she is a few years younger, we grew up in similar circles, in the same community, and are now walking in a similar season of life. While we did chat on marriage and homemaking, we spent a lot of our conversation hitting on a variety of other things. We break down the lie that submission equals oppression, and dove into what true femininity and biblical womanhood look like. We touch on romanticizing life, comparison as women in this digital age, and even some tips for non-toxic, natural living. It’s applicable and timely, so whether you’re here specifically for one of these things, or you’ve just stumbled across this episode, I have no doubt there’s something for you here.

What is Empty Glasses Podcast and what makes it different?
I believe there’s so much power in getting real, raw, and honest about who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we’ve learned along the way and from my experience, many of those conversations have happened while communing around a table, as we sip and dine together. That’s my heart behind empty glasses — it’s a podcast geared towards telling real stories by real people. So, I invite you to be a part of these conversations; grab your drink of choice and join us at the table. There’s a seat for you here.

Episode # 20, Alison || In today’s episode I chat with my friend Alison. We met while living in California, doing missions together with The Circuit Riders, a few years back. She has a true heart for Jesus and a passion for seeing the lost saved and encountering His love. Our conversation centers around the love of God, and trusting that His will for our lives is better than we could imagine, even when we might not understand. We discuss what it looks like to trust God, and remain hopeful in seasons of hurt and disappointment, so if you find yourself there now, you’re in the right place to be encouraged. Whether you’re a long-time follower of Jesus, or just trying to learn what He’s about, I’m so glad you’re here, and I pray this conversation blesses you.

Episode # 19, Riley || In today’s episode I sat down with my friend Riley for a conversation packed full of truth. Originally from New Zealand, Riley recently graduated from university in Phoenix, where she’s currently living. From navigating the bittersweet change and transition from high school, college, and beyond, to battling insecurity and comparison in this digital age, we discuss what it means to really keep our identities rooted in Christ. We unpack what it means to know whose you are, fixing your gaze on Jesus, and staying faithful in the mundane moments of becoming more like Him. Whether you’re a longtime follower of Jesus or just trying to see what He’s about, I know there’s something for you here.

Episode #18, Kayla || Becoming like Jesus in marriage, motherhood, and holistic living
Today’s episode is one I’ve been sitting on for a while. We actually recorded this episode back in February and Kayla has since welcomed her second baby, a girl named Eden, into the world. Although some time has passed, our heart’s remain the same, and in this episode you’ll hear her journey through marriage and motherhood. We discuss what it looks like to serve well, healthy communication, intimacy with Jesus and how our best selves come from the overflow of spending time with him; as well as touch briefly on Kayla’s health and wellness journey. Regardless of where you’re at, I know there’s something for you here, so stick around, I’m so glad you’re here.

Episode #17, Noah || Navigating marriage, business, creativity, & relationship with Jesus
In today’s episode I sit down with my best friend, biggest supporter, and deepest love. He’s a business man in his late twenties, who wears many hats, some of which include real estate agent, bartender, creative, athlete, and my husband. But above all else, he loves Jesus, and that’s exemplified in the conversation you’re about to hear today. today’s episode is an update on life, marriage, and where are hearts are at in this season — as well as some things we’ve learned along the way. We’ve been married for just under a year and a half and have a lot to share, so, without further ado, let’s get into it.

Episode #16 || Welcome back to Empty Glasses Podcast! In this episode, I share 25 lessons I've learned in my 25 years on earth. Everything from faith and friendships to personal growth and everyday joys. I talk about the importance of asking for help, staying rooted in God, loving and serving others, keeping your heart soft, noticing life's small joys, and living intentionally in all areas of life. Some of these lessons I've lived out fully, others I'm still learning day by day; and my hope is that a few of them meet you right where you are and remind you that growth is a process we're all walking through together.

Allie || On today’s episode I have a conversation with my bestie friend, Allie. We met about 4 years ago while on missions together in California and have stayed close since. She was even my maid of honor! Allie’s from south Jersey, she works at a gym, she’s a lover of the beach, and most of all, a lover of Jesus. In this episode, she shares her story and we talk through her seasons of encountering God alongside dreams and visions, answered prayers, full time missions and cross-country moves, questioning God, anxiety, healing, and more. I hope you stay tuned to the end and feel as encouraged as I did talking to her.

Jordan || Today’s guest is my very sweet friend, Jordan. We grew up in the same area and in similar circles, but didn’t actually cross paths till our mutual friend Abby connected us as fellow YWAMers. That was a few years ago now and we’ve just gotten closer since. She’s my style icon, a pickleball queen, and a beach babe. Her intimacy with The Lord is so special, goes so deep, and is always dropping nuggets of wisdom. And guys she dropped SO many nuggets in this episode. We start off a bit casual and giggly at the start but get deep pretty quickly, talking about The Lord’s heart and His faithfulness in our lives, so stay tuned to the end! Happy you’re here!

Osairys || Today’s guest is a conversation I’ve been super expectant about. Since we initially spoke, I could immediately tell she has a heart after the Lord, with a deep passion for leadership and serving others. She’s a Jersey girl, working in Behavioral Cancer Research, and has an inspirational story to share on her weight loss journey and her path to finding confidence after years of struggling with body image. She loves reading and even leads a book club for young adult women in her free time. I have no doubt this episode will be an encouragement to everybody who listens, men and women alike.

Autumn | Today’s guest was my travel buddy for three months a couple years back when we were on tour in New England. She’s a Michigan native, born and raised (she even has the accent to prove it), currently living in Southern California, running with the Circuit Riders. Her heart so clearly burns for The Lord and her life bears the fruit to prove it. I’ve learned so much from her over the years and know you will too.

Lindsey Wright || This week’s guest is someone I’ve actually known for a very long time! Although she’s a few years younger, we grew up in the same circles, at the same school, and both with a deep love for Jesus. A recent Liberty grad and an avid reader, this girl is wise beyond her years and a friend to all. She has a powerful testimony to share on forgiveness and surrender that I know without a doubt will stir your faith (and mine). She’s humble, compassionate, and kind.
