ElecSoul – Light of Day This curated playlist was born from a quiet moment and a view through our window overlooking Selsley, Rodborough & Stroud. The light was just right. I took a picture, converted it to black and white, and felt something shift. Music can do that too. It reminds us we can create something meaningful and beautiful for ourselves, no matter what others think. That’s what ElecSoul is about. A space to feel, imagine, and create.

These episodes are inspired by an image I have captured or a feeling I wish to share. Tracklist

PAPER
ELECSOUL - PAPER This week I found myself drawn to two producers for very different reasons. Ron Carroll and Felipe Gordon. I’ve always felt deeply connected to their music, but as I listened back through their work, it hit me: they’ve actually collaborated a number of times before! Felipe Gordon and Ron Carroll, both masters of soulful, groove-driven electronic music, have shared musical chemistry across releases like Gordon’s Hold On (Original Mix) featuring Carroll, and Carroll’s I’m Alive (Touch the Sky), which Felipe reworked in his own distinctive style. Gordon, a Colombian producer and DJ, brings a jazz-infused sensibility to house music, while Carroll a Chicago legend channels gospel roots, deep soul, and raw dancefloor energy. I haven’t included their collaborations directly in this week’s mix. Instead, I’ve reflected on the influences and similarities that connect them. The emotion, the musicianship, and that unmistakable feeling of spirit in motion. All my shows are recorded live to tape, with no editing. It’s never perfect, but that’s exactly how I like it. I’m grateful to have this platform to share my virtual residency on ElecSoul each week. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
