Last summer, with the addition of Tanzania, I was able to make the claim of having visited 25% of the world’s countries. With this accomplishment in mind, I wanted to rank my personal top 25% of those 48 countries! While it’s all personal opinion, I scored each country on the following categories: People, history, activities, tourist infrastructure, food, transportation, and then my own personal ranking, added them all together, and voila! A ranked list of countries. While it’s not perfect, I think this is a solid list and I’m excited to share my top 10 (plus 3 honorable mentions) with you and tell you why they’re some of my favorite places!
