The Holographic Nature of People's Projections & Judgements of You

This episode cuts through the illusions we all get trapped in. The distorted mirrors of projection and judgement. Demi Lee and Anna-Maria lay it bare - the way people see you says far more about them, than it does about you. Their wounds, their belief systems, their unresolved conflict, their life story and unique lens of the world - they smear the glass they see the world through, and then call it a reflection of you.

We break down the holographic nature of these projections and the layers of data held inside every barb of criticism or whispered judgment. The truth? You only ever see people through fragments or surface level observations, and then you tend to fill in the gaps with assumption. Hey - we all do it. But it’s also where the distortion creeps in.

The medicine here is LET THEM. Let them project. Let them judge. If it slides off you, it was never yours. If it stings, that sting is information. It’s data that points to your wounding or your own belief systems you hold around the self. And that is a rich invitation to get deeply curious and even grateful for the mirror this person is holding up.

This is not about spiritual bypass, nor about playing the victim. This is about radical self-responsibility. About knowing yourself so deeply that no one else’s perception impact your sense of self. And about being ruthless enough to ask: Why does this person trigger me? What is it showing me about myself?

If you’re ready to stop outsourcing your power to other people’s projections or judgements or accusations, this episode will hand you the sword.

The Shadow Side of the Feminine and the Cost of Self-Betrayal

In this episode, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria journey into the shadow side of the feminine - the hidden patterns that keep women small, silent, and disconnected from their deepest truth.

We explore the subtle and not-so-subtle ways women betray themselves. Mothers who remain in strained or disempowering partnerships for the sake of family, women who appease partners at the cost of their own desires, those who shrink their needs in birth rooms or bend to medical authority, and the devastating toll of rejecting our bodies through bounce-back culture and cosmetic surgery.

We also name the shadow dynamics that arise in love and intimacy. Too often, women deny their deepest desires for fear of losing love, saying “yes” to open relationships they don’t truly want, or avoiding difficult truths to protect their partner’s feelings. To advocate for your needs in relationship is an act of courage - to be willing to risk rupture, to stand on your own two feet, and to truly see the mirror your partner holds up for you rather than victimising yourself in the process.

These shadows reveal themselves in the choices we make, the stories we tell our children, and the way we silently absorb the message that women’s bodies, voices, and desires are secondary. When we deny our truth, our children inherit that denial. When we reject or change our bodies, our children learn to question the beauty of their own.

This conversation is not an indictment but an illumination - an invitation to recognise the cost of appeasement, to reclaim agency over body and voice, and to reimagine a feminine that is discerning, heart-led, self-responsible, and rooted in embodied agency.

The Nourished Woman: Reclaiming Fertility, Fullness & Food as Sacred

In this powerful conversation, we explore what it truly means to be a nourished woman - one who treats her body as a temple, not a trend that seeks to extract worthiness in beauty ideals.

We unpack the deep conditioning that glorifies thinness, control, and self-denial, and the way that narrative has disconnected so many women from their innate fertility, softness, and creative power.

We speak candidly about the transition from plant-based to meat-inclusive diets and the impact that shift had on our hormones, cycles, and vitality. From skipping meals to chasing aesthetics, we look at how diet culture depletes not just the body, but the feminine essence itself.

Fertility isn’t just about reproduction - it’s about life-force. It’s about having the energy to birth ideas, businesses, art, and future generations. So we ask: what’s more important - forcing your body into aesthetic ideals, or nourishing it enough to birth new paradigms?

This episode is a reclamation - of softness, of strength, of food as sacred, and of the body as a beloved companion on the path of feminine embodiment.

The Pathway of Feminine Maturation

In this episode, Anna-Maria and Demi Lee explore the pathway of feminine maturation and what it truly means to descend into your matter and live with nothing to prove.

Together they unravel the layers of the performative feminine and the ways performative eroticism often seeks to extract worthiness from others. While there can be medicine in cultivating the courage it takes to allow yourself to be seen and received in your eroticism - via performing it outwardly - they invite listeners to ask: From what place are you expressing from? When it arises from sovereignty and self-intimacy, there is no need to film it, flaunt it, or commodify it. It is felt. It radiates. It becomes contained. It becomes magnetism without agenda.

They speak to the death of the masks, the illusions, and the victim-maiden identity, and name what it means to descend into a deeper embodiment - into backbone, womb, voice, cervix, hips, and boundaries. This is the maturation of the feminine: a rose with thorns, a sword of truth, a channel that runs from crown to heart to throat to womb to pussy, where communion with Spirit becomes creation in the world.

They also acknowledge the ways modern culture has sought to sever women from this channel - the pill, the medicalisation of birth, and sexual assault all treating the womb as an object or organ rather than the gateway of life and Spirit. Reclaiming the sanctity of the female body is essential, so it cannot be stolen, medicalised, or diminished, but instead revered as the threshold every human being once crossed.

This conversation illuminates how true magnetism emerges not from performance, but from presence. Not from seeking, but from knowing. It is the essence of a woman who is rooted, contained, and free.

The Arena of Leadership is Not for the Faint-Hearted

In this episode, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria step into the raw terrain of leadership - the arena where projection, expectation, and responsibility collide.

Together, they explore what it really takes to stand in visibility: to carry the weight of others’ needs, to remain rooted in your own backbone and authority, and at the same time - stay humble, receptive, and willing to see the blind spots that inevitably arise.

But this conversation is not just for “leaders” in the traditional sense. It is for anyone navigating the initiatory path of life.

Because whether you hold space for others or not, you will face the same call: to know yourself, to meet your wounds with honesty, and to recognise how those wounds shape your choices. This conversation explores how triggers are not there to punish us or keep us suffering - they are teachers, mirrors that reveal where healing and responsibility still live within us.

From people-pleasing tendencies that quietly dictate decisions, to the online storms of projection and pressure, they speak to the arduous yet liberating process of self-responsibility. Leadership, and life itself, asks us to dance between strength and tenderness: to hold authority without armouring the heart, and to remain open without abandoning truth.

This is an invitation to anyone ready to walk with more awareness, to see every person who unsettles you as a guide, and to embrace the wild, unglamorous, and deeply human work of being in the arena.

What It Means to be Rooted in Remembrance - A Season of Shedding and Becoming

In this powerful opening to our brand new season and rebirth under the name Rooted in Remembrance, Demi Lee and AnnaMaria sit down to strip it all back. No polish, no masks. Just the raw, unfiltered truth of what it has meant to walk through fire and come home to the root of who we are.

We speak about the sacred unraveling that brought us here... the seasons of listening, the death of naive structures, and the deep maturity emerging from years of stretching, breaking, and re-seeing.

We talk about what happens when businesses are built from wounds instead of wisdom, and how we’re now tending the roots of Eclectica with new eyes, deeper integrity, and a clearer relationship to power, structure, and truth.

This episode is a reckoning. A stepping into leadership as CEOs of a vision once born from feminine chaos, now rising through the grounded discernment of the mother.

We talk about sisterhood, the complexity of leading friends, our past wounds with the masculine, and how this all showed up in our relationship to hierarchy, money, boundaries, and sustainability.

If you're in a season of burning it down to rebuild from the root - of letting what is false fall away and returning to the deeper rhythm of your becoming - this episode is for you.

Welcome to the crucible.

Welcome to Rooted in Remembrance.

Sisterhood & The Spine

What does it mean to be in your spine  - not just in posture, but in truth?

In this episode, Anna-Maria and Demi Lee unpack the sacred architecture of sisterhood: the kind that doesn’t flinch at your bigness, but bows to it. The kind that recognises your success and everything you have achieved in your life as a mirror and a call.

We speak to the clearings and contractions that come when jealousy arises - and how it can be a compass. We explore how to dismantle the internalised patterns of tall poppy syndrome, performative humility, and quiet competition - and ask: what if celebration is the most radical act of all?

This is a conversation about self-responsibility, staying in integrity when ruptures arise, and learning to hold each other - and ourselves - without collapsing or avoiding.

It’s about walking with women who don’t see your connection as dispensable and forging a sisterhood that trades in truth over comfort.

The Spirit of Plants: Cultivating Wholeness Through Plant Devotion with Lahni Gordon

Nature is inherently sacred, infused with spiritual virtues that can be intentionally collaborated with in order to effect change. Plant Spirits in particular, have a lot they can teach us. When devoted to, they become invaluable allies for us on our pathway of evolution, sharing wisdom with us about life, death, physical illness, spirituality, our emotional wellbeing, and our journey of becoming.

In today's episode we invite in Guest Speaker and fellow Eclectica Hub Facilitator Lahni Gordon, to speak about the nature of Plant Devotion and what it means to cultivate intentional, reciprical relationships with Plants.

Through her 10 years of studying Plants and Shamanism under the Shipibo Lineage, Lahni has a lot of wisdom and medicine to share in these realms. In this conversation, Demi Lee, Anna-Maria, and Lahni discuss the nature of working with plants intentionally, how to build meaningful relationships with plants, and what it means to devote to a plant through prayer, dieta, song, stripping back, strict protocol, and monogamy.

They speak about how the plants clean us of dark air and negative thought-forms, and how plants communicate with us through the subtle realms, dream work, and ceremony.

This episode offers a Pathway of Remembrance - and will support listeners in remembering that there is no separation between us and nature, and that plants are living spirits we can foster meaningful relationships with.

The Multi-Dimensionalism of the Womb & The Importance of Revering the Womb as Sacred Ground

The womb is our only means of entrance into this world.

Let that land for a moment…

And how often do we revere the womb as a bridge between realms? A multi-dimensional portal? A gateway to which new souls enter the world from? To which we all enter the world from?

In today’s episode, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria discuss the importance of exploring the womb from a multidimensional perspective - and how when doing so, we imbue it with a depth and meaning that it cannot receive when examining it through a scientific, intellectual or medical lens only.

In this conversation, they discuss the ways our wombs connect us to our maternal lineage, the importance of exploring birthing imprints, understanding womb grief from C-Sections, Operations, Abortions, Miscarriages and Early Births - and the ways in which our womb has been medicalised, domesticated, colonised, and capitalised for millennia.

The womb is approached quite clinically through the Western Medical System - rather than revering the Womb as Sacred Ground.

It’s important to remember that the womb is more than just an organ - she is an ancient cave that holds her own consciousness, her own grief, her own song-lines, and her own stories.

Reconciling with this, alongside reconciling with the Womb herself, is some of the deepest work we can do as women.

Cultivating Radical Self Awareness and Emotional Accountability

In today's fast paced world of nervous system dysregulation and highly charged reactivity, it's rare to slow down, take a breath, and recognise when we are being hijaked by our emotions.

When we feel triggered, charged, angry, or hurt - we tend to react impulsively. And hey - we all do it! Certain emotions take the wheel and we can end up spitting venom at the person we deem 'at fault' for this. We are in a state of fight-or-flight and the impulse is to react with whatever is alive for us.

In that moment, our perceptions of the situation are greatly altered.

The emotional charge prevents us from seeing the situation for what it is. We are seeing the situation through a distorted lens, one that is based on our own wounding and pain. At this point, there is no listening going on anymore. Our emotions and defence mechanisms are driving our behaviours, doing what they can to keep us 'safe'.

In today's episode, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria share the power in being able to slow down, cultivate radical self-awareness and truly take responsibility for what we are feeling. The speak to the power of Parts Work, recognising which part of you is taking the wheel so you can slowly give that part love and find out where it's not yet free.

This episode is for anyone who struggles with emotional reactivity and finds themselves going around in circles navigating conflict with the people they love. They offer a few tools and resources that can help you become radically accountable for your nervous system, for your wounding, and for where you are placing unfair assumptions or expectations on the people in your life.

Ancestors, Family Tree Healing and Integrating Plants, Elements, and Animals as Elders

Ancestral work is soul work. It is a pathway of resilience and the remembrance that we are the product of hundreds of thousands of years of knowledge, wisdom, patterning and trauma.

Beyond our blood and relative ancestors, we are descendants of Mother Earth. Each of us holds an innate connection with her ecosystem. This connects us to an infinite spiral of wisdom, remembering, and a deep sense of belonging within the web of life.

In today's episode, we unpack the power of connecting and reconciling with our lineage and family tree as well as deepening in relationship with plants, animals and elements as elders, teachers and ancient allies.

This conversation is a passage of returning to our innate capacity to vibrate in harmony with the forces that have birthed us is to being, and permitted us to thrive here on earth for eons.

This episode also explores the importance of understanding the impact we have on the generations to come and the responsibility we each hold to break free of lineage patterns that keep humanity bound, disconnected and unwell.

The Spirit of Generosity and Reframing Our Relationship to Wealth

In a world obsessed with material possessions and financial status, the concept of being "rich" has been narrowly defined by the numbers in our bank account or in the material items we possess.

Today's episode is a broadening and expansion of what wealth actually is - understanding that true richness transcends mere numbers and assets.

In today's conversation, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria speak about the importance of embracing an abundant mindset, and remembering that true wealth lies within the richness of our energy, spirit, and relationship to life.

They speak about the power of community and collaboration - and how they believe that having access to a supportive and colourful community is the highest currency.

They look beyond the confines of our collective bank accounts and speak to importance of embracing the abundance that surrounds us - especially for those of us that have the privilege of having access to community, clean soil, clean water, a flourishing ecosystem, and the thriving of the elements.

Wealth lies in the cultivation of gratitude and positivity - for it is in our gratitude and appreciation for life that true wealth blossoms.

Healing the Brotherline and Taking Responsibility for Our Wounds with the Masculine

Can we stop bashing men and calling it ‘feminism’? Can we stop projecting the wounds we hold around some men, onto all men? Can we stop normalising or enabling blatant misandry?

In today’s episode, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria dive deep into their journey of healing wounds with the masculine, and what it took for them to come into a space of deeply appreciating and bowing down to the brothers in their life.

They share how their wounds with the masculine created distortion and impacted the lens they saw all men through. They speak to the ways this created separation, division, blame, and expectation.

This episode speaks to how integral it is for both men and women to take responsibility for their own wounding, and understand how our wounds can create a distorted lens which can contribute to us to seeing the other through the lens of vilification, resentment, pain, and blame.

From pioneering what was once a female-only empire, to now - having brothers in the Eclectica Container - they discuss the journey they embarked on to get to that place and how Women are not the only victims of ‘patriarchy’.

Men have also had the life force beaten out of them by the same system.

They have come from generations that were sent to war, and forced to come home and provide for their families with zero to minimal opportunity for integration or healing surrounding the trauma they experienced.

It's time to dissolve of the walls of separation and the need to conquer or come out ‘on top’. Men play a pivotal and integral role in the healthy functioning of our society, and so this episode is a celebration of the brothers. We see you, we honour you, and we bow our heads in appreciation to you.

Unpacking Cancel Culture and the Problematics of Shaming and Exiling People from the Tribe

Let's speak about Cancel Culture.  This cultural phenomenon where individuals deemed to have acted or spoken in an unacceptable manner are ostracised, boycotted, shunned, fired, shamed, or exiled from the tribe.

During today's episode, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria unpack the nuances of cancel culture and the ways in which shaming and cancelling people out often doesn't leave much room or encouragement for healthy dialogue, growth, respite, or reflection.

Moreover, cancelling people instead of engaging with them in meaningful conversation prevents us from engaging with different perspectives which could potentially offer valuable insights into our own views — a crucial part of growing both as individuals as well as societies at large. When we engage in cancel culture we are sending the message that punishment trumps progress; that silencing someone is better than engaging with them constructively.

People deserve space to evolve. To make mistakes. To behave from their wounding and to be 'wrong' from time to time. This is an intrinsic part of how we emotionally evolve as humans. However we can only do this when there is safety, an opening, and a calling people 'in' instead of 'out'.

In this conversation, Demi Lee and Annamaria discuss how we can hold people accountable without cancelling them out. They discuss the importance of revillaging and what it means to offer spaces where people can unpack the nuances of their behavior without feeling shamed or punished for it through fear, bullying, intimidation, or publicly ostracising.

Integrating the Seasons of Self & Cultivating Embodied Eldership

What does it mean to cultivate Embodied Eldership? What does it mean to transcend individualism and explore the realms of service and leadership through integrating loss and reparenting the younger parts of our psyche?

In today’s episode, Anna-Maria and Demi Lee discuss the ‘elder’ as an archetype we can call upon. The emotionally wise part of ourselves who is universally valued as integral for the emotional and spiritual thriving of all ecosystems.

An elder is someone we turn to for deep insight, wisdom, and awareness when we’re confronted with new challenges and need help. Not just someone who can zoom out of life like the eagle and gain perspective on the bigger picture, but someone who grasps it so well that they can help us make sense of it.

In this episode, recorded outside on the Murray River in Bundalong amongst the elements and the birds, Demi Lee and Anna-Maria speak about the importance of integrating the seasons of self - from inner child, to teenager, to young adult. They discuss the value of reparenting these younger parts of ourselves in order to start embodying our inner sage or inner wise one, alongside the value in integrating grief and death as formative rites of passage.

Harnessing the Power of Your Inner Medicine Woman

The Medicine Woman is an archetype within us all, yearning to be awakened.

She calls us into radical responsibility and discernment, and reminds us to connect to the innate medicine that has always been woven into the cells of our bodies.

The spark. The illumination. The power.  The service.

It’s all there - waiting to be seen, felt and claimed.

During this episode, Demi Lee and Annamaria speak about the multidimensional force of the medicine woman archetype and how she often introduces herself to us after we have gone through huge, transformational passages of death and rebirth.

The Medicine Woman tethers us to Spirit, widens the way we see the world, and calls us into deeper service, integrity, and space holding.

In this conversation, Demi Lee and Annamaria touch on both the light and the dark that we begin to see with our entire body when connecting to the subtle realms of existence.

They also share about the pathway of psychic sensitisation, the ON and OFF switch, the importance of energetic sovereignty, and what kind of boundaries and protocols are actually required to hold safer spaces  - especially when working with shamanic energy.

The Necessity of Rupture and How it Can Lead to Rapture

At some stage in our lives we are bound to be thrown into the trenches of unimaginable loss, pain, heartache, and hardship.

And it is through these confronting life challenges, that we often get to meet ourselves the most deeply.

And that is where we find it. The gift of rupture.

The gift of being bought to our knees and having our hearts cracked wide open.

During this episode, Annamaria and Demi Lee share the importance of experiencing fractures or hardship in your life, and how it is through these initiations that you get to explore your pain as a teacher and emerge out the other side with more wisdom, depth, and medicine to share with the world.

They share stories of some of their own personal ruptures, and speak to the importance of choosing to fully welcome in the tears of your devastation and surrender to the full breadth of your discomfort.

Because after all - it you’re not willing to lean in and experience the full spectrum of pain, then how can you possibly expect to experience the full spectrum of pleasure?

Inhabiting the Spine, Backing Yourself, and Becoming Impenetrable

What does it mean to wholeheartedly embody your expression, your truth, and your sense of self in this world - and truly back yourself?

What does it mean to value authenticity over your need to be liked? What does it mean to refuse to shrink yourself, to stand strong in who you are, to fully inhabit your spine, and essentially become unfuckwithable?

During this episode Demi Lee and Annamaria speak about what it means to know yourself so deeply that other peoples energetic daggers or negative thought forms can’t touch you.  They speak about the importance of becoming more and more comfortable with feeling disliked, with holding other peoples resentment or judgement, and how that is often a clue that you are living in alignment with your own principles, rather than other peoples.

They offer insight into what it means to cultivate flexible yet sturdy boundaries, remaining receptive to other peoples experience of you, while ensuring you don’t compromise on your own inner knowing or self worth in the process.

Eclectica Hub's Rooted In Remembrance Podcast

Welcome to Eclectica Hub’s Rooted In Remembrance Podcast. A Podcast bought to you by Demi Lee and Annamaria.

Eclectica Hub is a Visionary Dance School and an evolving community. A space where we tend to the rites, the ruptures, and the wild ceremonies of becoming.

Our Rooted in Remembrance Podcast is where we gather by the metaphorical fire of what’s been forgotten and return to the ancient, the intimate, the unspoken.

We speak from the marrow,

of birth, of death, of grief, of growth -

of what it means to lead with soul.

This is for those who remember, or ache to.

For those ready to reclaim what the modern world forgot.

To break the spell of amnesia.

To return to the work of soul.

Thank you so much for tuning in and welcome to the world that is Eclectica
