Life requires preparation to face challenges boldly. Discerning Voices Make sure you're discerning the voice behind every decision. The voice of the Lord is supposed to lead and guide you. Characteristics of God's Voice Carries the presence of the Lord. Brings peace, not lunacy, confusion, or negativity. Reveals the person of God. Communicates God's character and will. Aspects of God's Voice Sound: A distinct sound accompanies God's voice (Acts 2:1-2). Information: God's voice carries information and revelation (Isaiah 55:10-12). Power: God's voice is connected to power and results (Psalm 29:1-8). Rebuke, Reproof, Correction, and Instruction: God's voice guides and corrects (2 Timothy 3:16-17). CONCLUSION Being led by the Spirit involves discerning God's voice, which carries the presence, power, and revelation of God. By becoming more spirit-conscious, believers can hear God's voice clearly and experience His guidance and direction in their lives.
