Estonian parliament proposed new changes to the Estonian crypto regulation. These changes have caused a lot of worry and backlash from the market participants, lawyers and the Estonian FinTech Association.
That said, I am quite optimistic knowing what's happening behind the scene. As the Estonian government has changed, including the Minister Of Finance, there's active communication and understanding by the new policymakers why the proposed changes aren't appropriate.
In this podcast, I share my thoughts on the proposed changes.

Estonian authorities revoked 1296 crypto licenses in 2019-2020. In this episode, I will tell you why it happened and why it’s a good thing for your crypto company.
While there were occasions where withdrawal seemed unfair, by and large, it was the only right thing to do. Eliminating bad actors who claim to operate under a reliable regulatory umbrella is exactly what crypto space needs. These actions didn't only improve the Estonian crypto ecosystem, but also the general crypto ecosystem. Especially now in 2021, when many new investors are coming to the market to take part in the bull cycle.
