Devi Arati, beginnend mit Maiya Jaya Mangala Murati, ist eine wunderbare Hymne zur Verehrung der Göttlichen Mutter, Amba Gauri, der strahlenden göttlichen Mutter. Dieses Lied singt man typischerweise beim Arati, also bei der Lichtzeremonie für Durga, Kali, Devi, Lakshmi, Saraswati oder Parvati.
