This week I discuss the Black Lodge. Where and when is it? Is it a physical, spiritual, extra-dimensional or psychological location? We discuss the Black Lodge on Twin Peaks and speculate about it's utility within the context of the show narrative and beyond.
I also discuss the true origins of the Black Lodge. It's place in mythological writings, the many similarities between the Lodge and the creation stories of various cultures and chase down questions pertaining to it's relationship with the dreamer.
