The boys hockey team has some great senior leadership and I had the opportunity to chat with Jared Carpenter, Peyton Smetana, and Parker Sell, the three senior captains of the squad about the season so far. They've had a few admittedly tough losses but these guys are leading the team by keeping a positive attitude and being patient through the adversity. They're great leaders and great guys. 

The 2020-2021 hockey season is the first year of the Pine City, Mora, and Rush City Girls Hockey team and in this episode Paul Kirby, one of the team's assistant coaches sits down with Justin to talk about what it took to get to this point and the excitement that everyone is feeling about the beginning of the season. Certainly, COVID has transformed what that inaugural season will look like, but the team is focused on the positives and the community is excited to see these girls take the step to the varsity hockey level.
