Former Wisconsin Badger and current overseas pro talks about his multiple injuries including hip and knee and how he was able to sustain a dominant career overseas.

Today’s guest is a former Top 50 high school recruit, the four star went on to an illustrious career at the University of Minnesota where he was eventually named a 3rd team all american. He went on to become the 33rd overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft and now is currently a member of the WindyCity Bulls, a personal friend and a friend of the program, Dan Oturu.

Former UConn Husky and current WNBA player, Bria Hartley, joined me on the podcast to discuss her journey from growing up in New York, going to UConn to play for legendary head coach, Geno, Auriemma, her transition to the WNBA, and her current state after eight season of playing in the WNBA. The Buffalo, MN native led his high school to 3 consecutive section finals. After his time at Buffalo he committed to University of Mary. After a year at Mary he transferred to SCSU where he is in his second year with the program. A fellow Minnesota Hooper Tony Dahl!

Episode 8 of The Double Down Podcast features a three-star prospect by Rivals, Scout, ESPN and 247 Sports. He was ranked as the No. 85 receiver in his class and as the No. 4 receiver in Illinois. He is currently in his 6 year with the Golden Gophers and has played in 46 games and has made 125 catches (12th all-time in school history) for 1,970 yards (ninth all-time in school history) and 13 touchdowns (tied for 13th all-time in school history). An ACL tear has taken him out for the rest of the Golden gophers season. Expect him to make a full recovery and be back for his seventh year at the University of Minnesota. Our guest was rated as the No. 78 player overall in the nation and the No. 17 guard by ESPN. She was also named a WBCA High School All-American. She led her high school to a 28-1 record and a No. 2 final national ranking in the espnW 25 Power Rankings.
