DC 1 Orange Peel Compost Can Make Soil Too with Tim Treuer and Jon Choi

Back in 2017, Tim and Jon wrote a paper about a unique and audacious experiment in Costa Rica. Truckloads of Orange peels were dumped onto degraded pasture in the late 1990's, and left to decompose. The result is renewed forest with increased biodiversity, which begs the question: where else in the world can agricultural waste streams help restore degraded soil?
