We hope to return soon.

We recorded these so long ago, and it really sucks to hear myself say, "Go Pack" every episode. What a terrible week it was, when they went out.
Anyways, who's ready to hear me complain more? This week, we have Kenneth along!

We did it everyone, Dune is here!
I really hope that everyone that watched it enjoyed it, I thought it was extremely worthwhile, and I could even see myself watching it again.
That's saying a lot for me, really.
Hiatus time. Please wait for us.
Go 'Stros.

Honestly, I have a lot more to say about the ALCS than I do about this book.
Can y'all believe we couldn't get anyone to give us more than three innings on the mound until Valdez decides to take 8 full innings to get near 100 pitches? Where was this attitude the rest of the series? Two wins in Boston holy shit did we need that.
And a travel day tomorrow! More rest!
We might make it, y'all.

Wow, I do not miss editing this podcast. Listening to yourself is a nightmare.
Anyways, how about them 'Stros? Five straight trips to the ALCS.
Paul does some stuff in the book.

Here it is friends, Dune.
It's odd to finally read a legendary space opera, and see the main character's name is Paul.
What do parents name their kids after in the future? Will Paul McCartney still be in the ZeitGeist?
Anyways, I want to do that subconscious-music-drug. Sounds dope.

WITCHERCAST IS BACK! For today, at least. More in December.
What an exciting, stupid movie this was. I'm so glad it exists. We need more risks out there. Too much media is too safe.

Alright let's get to fucking space, yo. Time for science fiction. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind over here. Sorry about the audio, I am an idiot, and somehow missed that the input was set to the computer's mic, and not the interface/actualfuckingrecordingequipment.

I am nervous about this episode. I have an extreme fear of sounding stupid and being wrong, and I know I did not give myself enough time to reacquaint with the material and its implications.
Anyways, Snowball is probably dead, right?

Hey we finished the book, mostly on time! And what a cliffhanger we get.
I told a really funny joke in a work group chat today and no one reacted, so that's how I'm doing right now.

Sorry about the episode being so late, I totally forgot to upload it after work, and then I watched Ocean's Eleven.
What a fun movie. Pretty dated, but the point of the movie still comes across and is fun.
Anyways, it's a pirates story now!

We're back! Thieves! Pirates! Vague magick! A near constant stream of 'ah's and 'er's in dialogue!
It's all here in the second entry of Scott Lynch's Gentleman Bastards series, Red Seas Under Red Skies.
Let's go motherfuckers!

Well, we did it. We read all that's available of The Kingkiller Chronicle. Mostly worth it, I think is the final sentiment.
From me, anyways.

Sorry for taking a week off, thing's just got so crazy. We're back though, and most of my opinions are still the same!
Really though, the secondary and tertiary characters are just so much more enjoyable.

I don't have any good, quippy jokes today. Sorry about it.
Severen is a kinda cool place though, huh?
