Desperate to leave Paris behind, the Doctor and Izzy decide to press random controls in hopes of getting the Tardis moving. But when they press one too many controls, the Tardis is sent hurtling to the outer-reaches of the universe and eventually stops, broken and decrepit in a place where even light hasn’t ventured yet. A place where nothing exists.
