Dr. Afshin Beheshti is a researcher at KBR, NASA's Ames Research Center, where he does research with developing the GeneLab project. He obtained his PhD in physics from Florida State and transitioned to studying cancer research for his postdoc. He is involved with many projects at NASA and is the lead of the COVID-19 International Research Team (COV-IRT). In this episode, Dr. Beheshti walks us through some of his projects and his journey to NASA. He also discusses work-life balance and gives tips for those who want to work for NASA someday!
