Do Better is a podcast created by two Black women from the opposite sides of I-94 in Michigan. Sylvia is from the west hailing from Ypsilanti and Dominique is from the Eastside of Detroit. They are both mental health professionals in the field of social work who are passionate about providing quality information to the masses so that mental health, and issues that impact it, are no longer taboo. Join them for some HEARTY laughs and some real talk. We all have areas in our lives where we need to Do Better.

We are excited to have a special guest, Julia, who is also a social worker. She will discuss her passions and expertise which include keeping team members engaged as a part of larger projects and her anti-racism work. She will discuss how she continues to dismantle white supremacy within herself and how she wants to expand the racial identity development model for white people so that they can do their own work.

Dominique also shares a definition for anti-Blackness and an explanation of why the 'B' in Black should always be uppercased.
