AN INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR LEWIS SHINER ABOUT HIS NOVEL “OUTSIDE THE GATES OF EDEN” (Ep. 229)
Discograffiti is the deep-dive podcast for music obsessives. In this episode, author Lewis Shiner discusses his epic, 868-page, music-based novel Outside The Gates Of Eden, which follows a series of characters from 1965 to the present day. Lewis describes it as a ”War & Peace for the Woodstock Generation,” and I believe it is an absolute masterpiece, one of the 10 best books I’ve ever read in my life.
