Life doesn't care that you're a caregiver. It'll still flood your kitchen, give you a gas leak scare, and shit on you in general. It won't even let the dog in the book (that you're reading for escape), like, live. Absolute bullshit!
In this episode, Suzanne and Kelly discuss the latest whirlwind that is an average day in the life of a caregiver, and Gloria's hanging on pretty good, honestly. The mantra "you've got this," continues to sometimes end with a question mark, but at least they've "got each other."

What’s this? A second dinner request?
We’re talking about what to do when your loved one forgets the lovingly (and painstakingly) large amount of care they’re getting 24/7. If you figure it out, let us know. In this episode, we’re venting and laughing through the latest mama drama and sharing a quick update on our Big Hometown Project as we (hopefully) near the finish line.

We’re in the studio cooking up Episode 8, but right now we’re taking a lil’ 7th inning stretch, because sometimes your brain needs a breather before it hits the next pitch.
Thanks for hanging with us while we stretch, hydrate, and avoid the metaphorical pulled hamstring. In the meantime, we're serving up a dish today featuring the one and only Gloria herself! Hear her regale us with a story about playing a game in her "volunteer" group, a.k.a. adult day care, with other dementia participants.
Back soon, peeps!

It’s been two years since everything changed—Gloria’s fall marked the moment Kelly and Suzanne stopped tiptoeing around tough decisions and stepped head first into the role of caregivers. In this episode, they finally share the story they’ve hinted at since the beginning: It started with a birthday visit and ended with their first ER visit as a family (awww!) and a one-way trip to Charleston.

In this episode of Dementia Unfiltered, Kelly and Suzanne are back with a fresh batch of chaos and caregiving gold. From Mama’s Google searches (“Why is George Clooney so famous?”) to her cutting one-liners (“I hate you both”), it’s another week of wild rides and real emotions.
They share a new biopsy update, swap mama survival stories, and laugh their way through an old-school incident involving gas—of the car kind. Plus, Mama’s giving side-eye that could cut glass, and the sisters had to 86 Bob Ross. (Sorry, Bob.)
Because dementia doesn’t slow down, and neither do we. #YouveGotThis

Some mornings start with coffee. Others start with an oyster knife and a UTI. In this episode, Kelly and Suzanne share the chaos of Alzheimer’s mornings—missing teeth, questionable phone history (hello, Washington, D.C.?), and Mama’s firm stance on not being drugged. They reflect on their dad’s passing 20 years ago, the weight of caregiving, and the challenge of not digging themselves into a hole.
Sometimes we just gotta turn our own page, y'all.
