Episode 5 is about all things eczema in honour of National Eczema Awareness Month. With special guest Michelle, co-founder of Yanyee Skincare, we discuss living with eczema, a chronic skin condition, challenges, triggers, what helps, and why she would love to raise more awareness of TCM - Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

In this episode, I discussed friendships, especially toxic friendships. I also split those toxic friendships into different categories and had fun coining names! This episode was inspired by feeling disrespected and let down by some friends that I thought were closest to me. It made me reflect on what kind of friend I am to them and who they are to me.

My third episode is about invisible health. In this episode, I discussed all things health which cannot be seen from the outside, including autoimmunity, Chronic fatigue syndrome, stress and mental health. Sometimes invisible health can be tricky to deal with because you look fine on the outside, therefore people can assume you must feel fine on the inside too. I struggle many days, but you'd never know. I wanted to discuss it on this episode in length. 

The M Word part 2 continues with guest Alison Horner. In this episode, I interview Alison, who speaks on her experiences as a single parent and juggling this with running a successful business. 

Episode 2, part 1 is called the M word; where the M stands for mother. It is about my experiences growing up with a single mother and all about her strength. It is also about my absentee father, which impacted my childhood. Thankfully, we end on a positive note as I also detail how I found out about my half-brother and the relationship we've developed since. This episode is dedicated to all the single parents out there. I see you, and I respect you so much. 

The Dee Unedited Series continues with The C Word Part 2, with special guest Vithya Visvendra. Vithya is genuinely worthy of all her accolades, but most importantly, she is my friend. I'm very grateful to Vithya for agreeing to be on this episode and discussing a challenging topic. In this episode, Vithya speaks about being unable to conceive and the challenges that she's faced coming from an Asian family. 

My first episode is called The C Word. All too often, as women, people don't hesitate to intrude upon our lives or the decisions made. It is the "norm" to follow the societal structure of marrying and having a baby. But if you can conceive and choose not to, it's as if you're making a decision that makes people's head spin. This episode is dedicated to those who choose not to have children for their own reasons.
