Deadly Ever After
Elizabeth Hickey & Harry Metcalf
18 episodes

Deadly Ever After is a true crime parody podcast hosted by unhappily married couple Elizabeth and Harry recorded in their substandard home in Rochester, New York.

Elizabeth dreams of the podcast becoming an overnight success but Harry’s indifference to his wife’s delusional aspirations and for the true crime genre in general causes friction between the couple and they often end up fighting viciously on-air.

The information is real though the marriage, thankfully, is not. Join Harry and Elizabeth as they present the crimes and rationales behind some of this century’s most infamous murderers and family annihilators while intimate details of their personal lives spill into the conversation.

Episode Eight

This week’s case is new for the hosts of Deadly Ever After !

Stacey Castor’s domestic troubles were well-known to neighbors and authorities in the small town of Weedsport in upstate New York.

In 1999, she garnered sympathy after being widowed by her husband Michael Wallace. In the aftermath of his suicide, she was left to raise two young children on her own. When Stacey remarried in 2003 to a man named David Castor, her friends, family and children were delighted at the thought that she’d found love again.

Tragically, death and misfortune would continue to plague the Castor family. Police struggled to nail down what was really happening behind closed doors in Weedsport and, little did they know, they’d soon be racing against the clock to prevent another murder from occurring…
