“Don’t think that because you are in the palace you will escape when all the other Jews are killed… Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this?” Esther 4:13–14 (NLT)
“Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me… I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” Esther 4:16 (NLT)
BOLD PRAYERS FOR OTHERS…
1. See The Need Others Ignore
“Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. 14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” Esther 4:13–14 (NLT)
2. Step Into The Gap
“Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” Esther 4:16 (NLT)
“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30 (NLT)
“…I feel as if I’m going through labor pains for you again…” Galatians 4:19 (NLT)
3. Rely on God’s Favor
“On the third day of the fast, Esther put on her royal robes and entered the inner court of the palace, just across from the king’s hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne, facing the entrance. 2 When he saw Queen Esther standing there in the inner court, he welcomed her and held out the gold scepter to her. So Esther approached and touched the end of the scepter.” Esther 5:1–2 (NLT)
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Hebrews 4:16 (NLT
4. Release Deliverance and Reversal
“So on March 7 the two decrees of the king were put into effect. On that day, the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but quite the opposite happened. It was the Jews who overpowered their enemies.” Esther 9:1 (NLT)
