David's Podcast about IPL
Podcast about current Matches and Ms dhoni 's IPL retirement

Before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, there were widespread speculations that MS Dhoni, the legendary player of Chennai Super Kings and four-time IPL winner, might be playing his last season in the world's richest T20 tournament. Despite being 41 years old, Dhoni's impressive batting skills continue to amaze his die-hard fans in the ongoing tournament. In the previous match between CSK and Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni reminded the world of his prime years.

As CSK prepares to face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), led by Virat Kohli, in a highly-anticipated match on April 17th, Dhoni finally broke his silence on retirement rumors. He stated that it was too early in the tournament to make any decision about his retirement and that if he spoke about it now, it would create unnecessary pressure on CSK coach Stephen Fleming.

It is often said that MS Dhoni (MSD) is the most unpredictable player in world cricket today. This is because he does not need to prove his cricketing skills or fitness to anyone. Even by just watching him run and seeing his fitness, one can tell that he is still one of the best wicketkeeper-batsmen for India to play in the 2019 and 2023 ICC World Cups. Age is just a number for him.

Since stepping down as captain of Team India, MSD's batting average has been increasing at a very high pace. He has scored a lot of runs in ODI matches, with an average of 90+ this year. He is also about to complete 10,000 ODI runs soon, probably in this Ind-Aus ODI series.
