The Seahawks and Bucs are set for a big game this weekend. There are plenty of injuries. Dave Boling and Mike Sando join to discuss the state of the NFC West and what stands out about this matchup. They also reminisce about the day when these franchises were born.
The fellas over at the PFF podcast are paying attention to what Mike Macdonald and the Seahawks are doing better than most. We welcome Dalton Wasserman on to the show to hear what he's seeing and how big this game against the Bucs is for Seattle.
The Tampa Bay Bucs are a Super Bowl contender in the eyes of most NFL analysts. They are off to a 3-1 starts, with their only loss coming against the undefeated Eagles. Can the Seahawks finally step up and beat a quality team? They failed in these tests last season and in the season opener. Jeff Simmons, Deryck Gebe and I break down this matchup.
I had the chance to speak with a number of the guys in the locker room ahead of the Wednesday practice, and asked them about their baseball backgrounds and whether some of them would have liked having a teammate give them the nickname, Big Dumper. We also get AJ Barner's TD celly nickname. Hope you enjoy it.

Seattle has seen a 3-1 start not mean much. This season feels different than last year, but everyone will be watching to see how the Seahawks perform against a Bucs team that is already widely respected across the league. We welcome back Bucs reporter, Brianna Dix, to preview this game and go behind the numbers and the matchups.

Seahawks Legend Matt Hasselbeck joins the show for his weekly visit as we look back on the win in Arizona and the upcoming game against Baker Mayfield and the Bucs. Seattle is using 12 personnel more now, and is the best offense in football when in that grouping. Hasselbeck shares his perspective on why it works.
It is nearly impossible to assess an NFL schedule before the season begins. We are now four weeks into the 2025 season, and the strengths and weaknesses of teams have started to surface. Let's look at the Seahawks schedule and see where things have gotten easier or harder.
Ian Rapoport reported today that teams may be looking to trade for Riq Woolen. I think I know where that report is coming from and we will discuss why and some possible trade targets to consider.
The offseason takes on the Seahawks were consistent and negative. The experts all hated the move for Sam Darnold. They hated the Metcalf trade. Seattle was picked to finish last in the NFC West. Let's check in on those takes after four weeks, and how some of their tunes have changed.
Jeff Simmons joins me a for a rare in-person live show down in Phoenix to recap the Seahawks nail-biter against the Arizona Cardinals. They move to 3-1 and now have a mini-bye until they take on the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Phew!!! The Seahawks had another wild game in Arizona. They should have won by 2-3 scores, but let the Cardinals hang around and almost blew a critical game on the road. Thankfully, Jason Meyers made the kick to win it at the end.
We come to you live from the field at State Farm Stadium for the Real Hawk Talk postgame show.
We go deep inside the matchup between the Seahawks and the Cardinals, with special guest Bo Brack. This is a critical divisional matchup with a lot on the line. Injuries will play a key role, and we will dive into the latest news on that front as well as where the key matchups will be on the field.
It is easy to overlook the Cardinals. Seattle swept them last season. They have always been the little brother of the NFC West. Now, they lost their leader and key offensive weapon in James Conner. But this is a potent team with a much improved defense playing at home. Evan Hill, Jeff Simmons and Brian talk through what has to happen for Seattle to win their third straight game.

Seahawks legend, Matt Hasselbeck, joins the show for his weekly visit to talk about Seattle's blowout win over the Saints, and a big Thursday Night division matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. What's involved with playing QB at the NFL level? Where does growth happen that is less tangible to the average observer? Hasselbeck shares his perspective.
Looking back at this big 44-13 win over the Saints. Where do things stand after three games and where do things setup for the coming weeks? We will go over how players graded out, and where there's room for improvement.
Whoa. The rare Seahawks blowout win. It happened. Once again, the Special Teams and Sam Darnold were leading the way, and this emerging rookie class. Let's talk about it!
Jeff Simmons joins for his weekly talk through all things NFL, with a focus on the Seahawks off-season, and whether the moves they made were optimal. We also talk about the game versus the Saints and some other big NFC West games this weekend.
Mike Sando joins for his weekly visit as we dig into the NFC West, where the only loss came within the division and there are a number of interesting clashes in the next week. The Rams play the Eagles. The 49ers play the Cardinals. Seattle plays the Saints and then the Cardinals. Which team has the most to gain or lose?
We now have two days of injury reports for this Seahawks vs Saints game. It is looking increasingly like a few guys may need to step up this weekend for both teams. Let's talk about the news we have and which players would be in the spotlight if things don't change.
With George Holani potentially gearing up for more snaps this weekend and Robbie Ouzts learning the FB role, I spoke with Seahawks RB coach Kennedy Polamalu after practice today.
